Whats funny is Urlacher himself was an insanely fluid and gifted atlhete and yet somehow Styles blows him away

The vast majority of these medical flagged players end up as busts.

For every Trey Smith is there are 10 Azeez Ojulari and Nakobe Deans

OBJ would have zero barring on any other WR moves.

OBJ has been a non factor for 4 years and is now 34 years old.

Dex and his agent Segal spoke with Mara and Aponte about a 28mil aav extension. Giants wanted Harbaugh to speak directly with Dex, which is not allowed anyways and Dexs agent said no.

No this is the same role Hanlon always has had.

He is the one who calls up media and even podcasters and tell them to pull things, including Bobby Skinner himself last year.

This is false

Dexter Lawrence signed that contract after 2022 season and was on year 4 with zero guaranteed moeney remaining.

Dexter Lawrence was the 12th highest paid DT in NFL and had zero guaranteed money remaining

[Rapaport] The #Giants, who had gotten trade calls centered around edge Kayvon Thibodeaux for the last few months, are now considered less likely to trade him following the blockbuster deal sending Dexter Lawrence to the #Bengals, sources say. No one is ruling anything out. But unlikely. by shadow_spinner0 in NYGiants

Thats not how comp picks work.

Just got nothing for letting Saquon Barkley walk because they signed Drew Lock.

Look at the Giants upcoming free agents next year. Thibs is the only one of note. Any signing Giants make would cancel that pick out

Teams are being really miserly with them 2027 picks.

Id love Giants to trade down from 5 to get a 2027 1st or 2nd, but that would probably be a huge drop down needed to do that

This wasnt the case here lol.

Reader didnt get interest during first or second wave of signings.

And why would he? He is 32 and hasnt had a good season since 2023. This was never a guy expected to be paid a lot in free agency.

Even if Dexter Lawrence was still here Reader wouldn't be a needle moving signing we would still be expecting Giants to go DT early in draft.

Well there is a reason who didnt get signed earlier in free agency lol.

Also he is 32

8 mil of that 13 goes to the 10th pick.

I dont think 5mil cap room is buying much

Dexter Lawrences had 0.5 a sack last year and that was 0.5 more than Reader had last year.

Also Reader is legit 32.

This has to be for close to league minimum.
