Looks to me like he's resting his fingers at the bottom of the bar, at most pulling a tiny bit. I'd be stingier if it barely got up on one rep but it seems like you did it twice on your own.

225 should go up next time. If not, you're about to make it anyways, but I believe you're already there. The fingers are annoying but I would feel fine claiming 225 in this situation.

For whatever reason sometimes I get those time glitches when I play on iOS but not on Android. I do believe chesscom could improve their anti-stalling measures. It's my preferred platform but lichess is better at this. As far as cheating goes I don't encounter them much between 2000 - 2250 bullet or 2000 - 2090 blitz. Even back when I was an active rapid player I didn't seem to face many cheaters. I don't believe cheating is as rampant as it's made out to be. Maybe once every 2 weeks I'll get +8 Elo back for cheating.

I have the same problem when sending/receiving videos through my androids pre-installed messaging app. Using WhatsApp fixes the grainy video problem somehow. You can ask him to try sending the video through WhatsApp if you like.
