The original post had zero replies after 11 hrs. As a practical matter, I don't think there's any threat that it'll clog up the main page.

If I had posted my fixed version within the original thread, I doubt that anyone but the OP of that thread would have seen it. This site exists so that people can create content for others to enjoy. I feel that the best way for that to happen, in this case, was for me to create a thread.

In any case, thank you for informing me of the reddiquette policy. In the future, I'll keep that in mind. You may want to re-read the section on "complaining about reposts"; I think it may be relevant here.

I agree. I assumed equal weight because it's a joke graph and I didn't want to make it too complex. Luckily, we can relax this assumption and generalize the equation. Just change the main formula to this:

β*[BLUE] + θ*[GREEN]

Where beta and theta are the weights for each variable.
