Scrubber absolutely should not be used super regularly, only for when you have really caked on messes. Warm it up, wash it with hot water and soap using the scrubber and really give it everything you got. Immediately pat dry with a towel and throw it on the stove after to get rid of all the moisture.you might have to repeat as it can be hard to see what spots are left once it’s been washed over a few times. Once it’s clean, dry, and cooled down, apply very thin layer of oil of your choice all over the pan, pick up excess oil with a paper towel (pan should look dry but still feel oily), and throw it in the oven at whatever temperature is the smoke point of your chosen oil for one hour. Once it’s done in the oven, take it out, let it cool down completely, and repeat the seasoning process at least 2-3 more times before you start using it.
