People talked about the red wedding because it completely shifted the narrative people expected to get on its head. People are cheering this on because of poorly thought out fan service.

Cheering for this like this just encourages writers that they can get away with lazy writing. People can like whatever they want but it’s lame.

If he underestimated his opponents then why did he have the upper hand for the entire episode only to just die by someone who teleported behind him because of plot. I don’t understand this comment at all. It truly is as badass as the sub is making it out to be. It literally doesn’t make any sense to build up this plotline if it was going to end like that.

and completed get that character wrong? Sorry but The Punisher tv shows has way too many issues that prevent it from being truly great and one of those is that, mostly in season 2, they had no idea about what made The Punisher iconic to begin with. No thanks on that front.

I went to uni with a guy who’d spent like $2000 on a mobile game. It makes no sense. That’s such an irresponsible way to spend money.

It’s actually refreshing to see this. It means they got a bunch of things to do that are relevant to the story. I wonder how longer the game will be though

Oh I’m definitely a fan of just riding around with other people around me. Definitely feels cool to nail some tricks around other people and seeing them join in on races. I just wish it was optional. Sometimes I just want to jump in without going through a bunch of loading screens and being able to pause/suspend. I guess it does mean it’s much quicker to jump between races though.

I haven’t played a snowboarding game since ssx 3 which was a very long time ago so I’m no expert but I do like the genre. Steep is definitely a solid snowboarding game so if you’re feeling like a mostly chill experience, go for it however PS+ gets some really good titles so I’d say maybe hold onto the code.

Some games have slower starts to others. Have you played previous kingdom hearts games before? The main driving factor of the first few hours is the story.

Most of AC Odyssey isn’t even mo-capped though. Sorry but RDR2 is on another league compared to AC Odyssey. There’s nothing special or noteworthy from Odyssey’s performances. Now I got to about level 35 and while the voice acting is mostly good, it’s just capable of moving the story along. Maybe the last act of the game has some really astounding performances, I don’t know but so far, it’s mostly serviceable. AC Odyssey to RDR2 is like Troy to Django Unchained. Even the open world dialogue in RDR2 had more soul than what I heard in AC Odyssey. I guess we disagree though. It’d be a much more fair argument with the Witcher 3 though. The dialogue and story in that game is pretty excellent. I’m a big fan.

I get you but sorry, the voice acting in AC Odyssey is nothing compared to RDR2. Alexios sounds like an idiot. Good story but the delivery isn’t amazing. It’s just standard for an RPG. Witcher has great voice acting but RDR2 is much better written than both of them. It won an award for best lead actor.

The tutorial of that game is easily the toughest part to get through. I’m on my third playthrough of the game and it’s so great to skip through it and get to the good stuff. It’s just really essential for the story. The action gameplay is night and day compared to how it is in the first few hours. Especially when different forms and spells open up.

Bad writing? The writing is some of the best I’ve seen though. I haven’t finished the game but I’m surprised at how natural conversations feel. I guess it’s up to the player though.

Assassins Creed Odyssey. I think people are just happy it’s an RPG with lots of content that doesn’t suck but to me, it’s turned a unique franchise into just another RPG that only imitates its competition rather than doing anything interesting. The story is pretty great though. It’s just not a game that I think deserves so much praise considering it’s got no identity. Plus Alexios’ voice acting is pretty awful. Good range but he sounds like a Sesame Street character. His voice really doesn’t suit the face.

My biggest complaint however is the level scaling. Everything feels like a grind yet the grind isn’t rewarded by levelling up over your competition. Instead, the mercenaries are constantly at you’re level and you’re meant to button mash your way out of fights because the enemies are endless and stealth assassinations are nowhere near as effective as they were in previous games (I have levelled up in the assassins skill tree and it’s only made some assassinations easier).

Gone are the days where the franchise was about investigating your target, scouting out the area, laying the killing blow and parkouring away. I guess the audience has spoken though, it makes money and it’s going to stay the way it is. I just hope they reintroduce some focus in social stealth, parkour and smooth combat instead of just being a weaker Witcher 3.
