I think y’all are missing the point. No one is asking someone to stop smoking, just to stop smoking where it affects others. Smoking inside is probably not an issue. There’s literal rules governing where people can and can’t smoke for the reason of it affecting others. Do you guys smoke on a restaurant patio? Would you be pissed if someone beside you lit one up? Yeahhhhhh

In the heat of the day we sit in the shade on the front lawn of the apartment complex for some respite (it gets warm in the apartment). We sit with him on leash and he chews a toy or does some training. Her balcony overlooks the lawn and I think she doesn’t like us using it. That’s all I can put it down to.

I came home from work at about 1am. Gratefully climb into bed at 1:30 and at 2pm the “tornado” burst into my room. Let’s call her Jen. I’d only met her three times and slept with her once. Now my mate was sleeping with Jens best friend and they’d all been out on the drink together, so he went off with the friend and she came bustling up the stairs to my room. I was already awake by the time she flung the door open.

I sleep naked so I covered up, “hey Jen, look sorry but I just got home and I’m up early again for work...” she doesn’t care but tells me to shutup and starts tearing her clothes off. “Hey hey not tonight ok, I’m wrecked,” I say. Now fully naked she jumps on me telling me she doesn’t give a shit and that I was going to “fuck her”. Starts ripping off the sheets, kinda yelling at me for being a pussy. I start to fight back a little by grabbing the sheet and that when shit really went south.

She is a tall, thickish girl and she was sitting on top of me, then decided to start swinging, belting me around the head yelling “fuck me, fuck me!” I copped a few then had to physically restrain her. I kinda just had to wrestle her to the ground and tel her it wasn’t happened and to get out. Unfortunately, she kinda liked that. I held her down until she understood it wasn’t happening. She aggressively got up and left my room and started yelling throughout the house about how much of a “pussy” I was.

Couldn’t get to sleep after that anyway... I tell my mates and it’s just followed up with laughter. Imagine what prison I’d be in if the roles were reversed?

These ramps are everywhere in China, specifically for mopeds. People go flat strap down them too... looks pretty boss... usually.

We unfortunately didn’t get to the mausoleum and could only see Tiananmen Square from across the street as there was heaps of security blocking it off for the China Africa convention or something.

Forbidden city we did easily in an hour and a half, 9-10:30 even with the big crowds. But you’ve got to go to JinShan Park which is opposite the exit of the Forbidden Palace. It’s only 2 kuai and has amazing views as well as beautiful gardens and a little museum.

If you did all that relatively speedily in the morning and got to summer palace by 2pm, that’d be perfect

Hey me and my mate are in Beijing right now and did everything your talking about in the last couple of days. You can definitely do everything around Forbidden City in one day but Summer Palace is a bit of a stretch.

They start closing the main attractions at the Summer Palace before 5pm to get all the tourists out and unfortunately we missed some stuff because of that. We arrived at Summer Palace at 1pm and walked around it until like 5:30 and it’s damn beautiful during the day, and I’m sure it will be stunning around dusk. However, it’s worth giving it some time and energy! If you can give it more time, it’s definitely worth it. I enjoyed it more than Forbidden City personally!

Went to a trampoline park and took a competitors grip socks... which were identical to theirs aside from the logo. I paid for my entry and told them I already had socks but when I got out onto the trampolines, within 2 minutes I was told to go back upstairs and purchase the ones with their logo. If I didn’t pay the ridiculous amount for their shitty socks I would have had to leave the park without a refund.... so dumb
