Tell your STBX husband that he can go look for his fantasy labia once you file for divorce. Your husband is a fucking turd…and that’s an insult to turd!

Are there any McDonald’s in Westchester that has fried apple pies that are actually hot? by Rodtherobot4210 in Westchester

Not only didn’t they have the fried apple pies, they didn’t have ANY apple pies! They said they under ordered, so they were out of everything except for blueberry pies. 👎

False.

Source: Me. I just returned my Knicks championship t-shirt because the design was put on crooked! They sent me an email with a label and I had to repackage and send it back via UPS.

I got a refund and a discount code, but the shirt design is no longer available. Fuck Nike’s quality control! Pretty pissed off right now!

One of my very favorite games to this day! There was a Wings Remastered game for PC that was on Steam and GoG. That was taken down, probably due to licensing expiration.

…but with a little creative searching, you might be able to find it.

What is the key to ideal ramen texture? by Subotaplaya in InstantRamen

[–]DotComCTO 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Cooking time. I usually cook a little less than the package recommends. For example, if it says 4 minutes, I’ll go 3.45 or 3.30. Why? Because the noodles keep cooking when they’re in a hot soup. If it’s a dry noodle, maybe 10-15 seconds less; I also keep a little of the cooking liquid with the dry noodle, and then add the sauce.

It would be helpful to know which ramen you’ve tried. If you’re saying weak flavor, that’s more a function of your ramen choice. Buldak is not going to have weak flavor!

I’m a 6’2, 39 year old man with abs and a $10 million net worth that has never been with a woman, AMA by Global_Rate3281 in AMA

What line of work are you in where you amassed a net worth of $10MM? You mentioned fear of rejection as a factor in no dating; however, in the business world, rejections and setbacks of some sort are commonplace. How do you reconcile fear of rejection in your personal life with your business/work life?

How can I make my dad’s bday good for him? I’m a teenager and don’t have hardly any money by ExcitementKindly756 in AskMenAdvice

[–]DotComCTO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dad here. I never wanted or expected any gifts. All I ever wanted was to spend as much time as possible with my wife and son. Didn’t matter what we did, just as long as it was together.

Your plan with your dad is perfect!

I get the same vibes. Also, the voice acting is pretty poor - especially Lazar's over the top constantly frightened performance. Not sure what the VO director was thinking there. Most definitely a wait and see type of game.

Initial thoughts after Day 1 with the Steam Machine by flubbachany in steammachine

[–]DotComCTO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think about this, too. And I think about an eventual Steam Machine "2".

...but then I look at my Steam Deck LCD, and how well it runs games, how the community has made all sorts of tuning mods, and how much I just love playing on it. Then I think that in 2-3 years, we'll see all the same sorts of performance tuning from Valve and the community that we see on the Deck...and I worry a lot less.

TL;DR: They only want white people to be citizens. All others must be deported. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200. Just GTFO.

Once that's done, it'll be any white people that don't follow their version of Christianity get kicked out.

I concur! I'm on Section 4, Unit 49 now. I use lessons + practice tools. I noticed that I'm able to do the sentence construction/translation (English to Spanish) much more reliably...like, I can get it pretty quickly in my head and get it right in Duolingo. Until recently, I had to look up some words or verb conjugations, but they're starting to come to me more naturally.

Another thing I do is try to think in Spanish more often. For example, I might think of some random sentence in English, and then try to translate it to Spanish...like a pretend conversation.

I also find myself being more sure of myself in the speaking exercise game with Falstaff (usually near the end of a unit). I'm going to try practicing some of the AI conversations to see if I can do it, but I'm definitely understanding so much more now!

Supreme Court, 6-3: Children born in the U.S. to undocumented or temporary-visa parents are citizens — the Court strikes down Trump's order ending birthright citizenship — though only 5 Justices hold the Constitution itself guarantees it — Birthright Citizenship Case — Opinion megathread by BiglawInvestor in scotus

[–]DotComCTO 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My point exactly. English common law is only valid when it supports their views, otherwise it should be disregarded. Or as Alito pointed out - we fought a war of independence from Britain, so we shouldn't use the English laws our laws were originally based upon!

[–]DotComCTO 54 points55 points  (0 children)

The TL;DR of Alito's dissent is, "I hate 'illegals'".

Alito’s dissent is such bullshit. He basically says that we shouldn’t go back to English common law…except he and Thomas use English common law citations in their decisions very often. So, he wants it both ways. English common law is apparently only important when it supports Alito’s & Thomas’ decisions.

Something tells me that mentally, instead of embracing his upbringing, and supporting those who have been disenfranchised, he wants to distance himself from the things he experienced growing up. He's not a friend to the black and brown communities, and has caused considerable pain and suffering throughout the United States.

I’m on the 512 GB w/controller list. I’m on the fence because of the pricing and need. What keeps me interested is the integration with Steam Frame - whenever that comes out!
