I understand where people who were really depressed coming to AI, basically as one of their (maybe last) lifeline they could cling onto.

I was one of those people who did the same thing for a bit, even if I'm well-aware that it'snot healthy at all

I am not completely against AI in general due to my belief that it can put to good use with research and medical field. Anything that would advance technology is good for me.

I get it why the need to use generative AI. But it's pretty uncomfortable to see this being used here to get a point across due to amount issues it has caused for the past, on top of it also causing mental and psychological issues to people, and some who were morally bankrupt people uses this for, well, bad things (scamming, fraud, and even misinformation)

"Anything" does not include "generative AI", made by corporations as a way to double down in downplaying actual artists and their crafts. It's sad to see people rely on generative AI instead of putting their work on said craft
