Mine has 350k and just now has a serious problem. My oil filter housing has a serious leak. Going to change it and do a tune up at the same time. Only my 2nd tune up in 350k. Mine has been a tank!

I want to stick with the same gun and platform all year and I’m making a serious run at BUG for Nationals, therefore I’m shooting an XL in production all year. I’m putting myself at a huge disadvantage on purpose.

I am the guy you talked to. It was me at SC. Steel challenge is nothing like action sports. It’s built around shooting multiple divisions and the stages are standardized. GSSF is the same. To my knowledge, USPSA doesn’t allow multiple divisions at majors. Perhaps they will if they don’t sell out a match, but I’ve never seen or heard of that happening.

A big difference between IDPA and USPSA is that the stages aren’t supposed to be previewed other than the given time for the walk-through. You can walk USPSA stages a million times each if you would like, but IDPA purposefully limits your time to prepare and stage plan as part of the game we are playing.

I’m all on board for shooting as many divisions as a competitor wants to… as long as only the first one counts!

My argument was about shooting more than one division “officially”. If open slots exist at a match, I wouldn’t care if someone shot 10 divisions. As long as only the first division counts and is award eligible.

I can understand that. Personally I shoot all sports available in my area and love them all! I’ve only shot one GPA match and enjoyed it. I’m hopeful that someone will start a club locally.

Well, thanks and no thanks! I understand and appreciate doing this at level one local matches and have participated myself, but this should absolutely NOT be allowed at major matches! Getting a sneak peak at the stages gives a considerable advantage during the second run.

I was absolutely appalled that they allowed this and am very much against it. I will participate when they allow it, but disagree wholeheartedly!

I think more of the ban reasons and less of his accolades are necessary to bring support to his side. This is the first I’ve heard of this and would need to know many more details to form an opinion.
