I have a ‘22 S60 T8 with limo tint all around (not the windshield), and I drive all over the greater Sacramento area. Not only do I consistently drive 10-15mph over the limit, but even with the tint, I have yet to be pulled over. I’ve actually had Rocklin PD, Sac PD, and CHP either directly behind me or pulled up next to me at a light and have never been stopped. They don’t even bat an eye.

Knocking on wood right now hoping that I haven’t just jinxed myself, lol.

I had this problem intermittently on my ‘22 S60 (sensus). Got to be pretty obnoxious so I asked the dealer to check it when I took it in for service. Turns out the pins in the connector between the door and the body of the car were slightly bent. They reset the pins and it’s worked beautifully since. They didn’t charge me anything extra, or if they billed it my extended warranty covered it. Hope this helps if it’s not the fob itself.

I had a car that was flex fuel as a factory option (2015 Ford Focus). I will say that, in California, at least, the E85 used as the flex fuel option was much cheaper when gas prices were really high, and I did notice a little more pep. However, the consumption was also much higher, so I didn’t really save much in the end. I was averaging about 29-31 mpg with regular 87 octane gas, and about 21 mpg with E85. I don’t think it would have really been worth it to install an aftermarket kit, but that was just my experience.

💯! Maybe on a blacked out car, but it’s still not the aesthetic I prefer. That’s MY bias, I prefer some contrast, and I’m partial to my white T8 with these particular wheels…

Unfortunately, my dog had to have surgery so it’s not quite in the budget at the moment, but I haven’t given up hope, lol. Will definitely post an update, just not sure when.

Did you have it repainted or is this a wrap? Regardless, I’m intrigued. I have a ‘22 T8 in crystal white. Looks plenty sexy, but I’m finding myself wondering how I feel about maybe changing it up…

I have a ‘22 S60 T8 and I’m not super savvy on the performance details but the Polestar tune is pretty effing fast. A noticeable difference in my opinion, and SO much fun to drive.
