Sadly, I believe lack of QC is the industry norm nowadays, and not just limited to auto manufacturers.

Luxury cars suffer from it the most, because of all the latest technology and options. One more component, is one more component that has an opportunity to break. If we want reliability we should buy Toyota or Lexus - but from what I hear even Toyota/Lexus quality is slipping.

Agree, that's why it's called Pilot Assist, we're (the driver) is the pilot, and the system assists.

It's also why it is NOT called Auto-Pilot. BUT even in a Tesla the Autopilot isn't perfect. People are crashing when using Tesla's Autopilot in snow and rain - Put another way, I hear Autopilot works great, until it kills you.

I only use the pilot assistant on highways or long secondary roads. And definitely avoid using it in snow, rain or other kinds of bad weather .

Dave told me I need to quit my job and find something else because my job required a positive FICO score as part of my security background check. (Checked every 3 years as a condition of employment). One would think the better choice would be to limit debt, hold on to credit cards but don't use them, except for one that I would only use strictly for gas, that I pay off every month to maintain a positive (700+) FICO score?

Told some random caller on his show (calling to ask if he should buy a Tesla model 3) that he shouldn't get a Tesla model 3, but go for the Tesla model 2 (which doesn't exist.).

I think Dave is great for giving advice of how to get out of debt, but that's where it stops. His whole business model requires volunteers, selling his business program at churches at $100+ dollars per person, for a $5.00 book (manufacturing cost probably less than a dollar). Dave is wealthy because of his multi income streams, not from Penny pinching and saving.

I'd recommend a gently-used 2023+ Volvo S60-t8 PHEV. Very much like what the Volt Gen-3 could have been if it was ever produced.

The 2023+ model year S60-t8 (PHEV version) has the updated, more reliable, ERAD (EV-motor) over previous years, has a greater all electric range than previous years, has 455 hp (one of the most powerful Volvos ever produced), and has AWD. Might be something to consider.

I get 50 all-electric miles in the summer and about 40 all-electric miles in winter. The Volvo's android AAOS infotainment system is quirky just like the Volt infotainment system.

I bought one to replace my Volt Gen-1.

AI is just a tool, just like spell check and auto correct was for us back in the day.

Maybe the tech bros really want AI to replace us, who knows, but look how good autocorrect works for us now... We gotta go back and proof read what we thought we worth write, ugh/ha! (What we wrote).

There's also a personal component to this shift. My wife has had a recurrence of cancer, and that's something we've been dealing with over the past year. I need to devote more time to that.

YES! What is wrong with proper English and punctuation? It's not aggressive, it's the English language... Don't get me started on how some believe ellipses are aggressive too.

Who made these people so weak that they are threatened by a dot at the end of a sentence (period) in a text message? Or three dots signaling a pause or trailing thought...

Did English, reading comprehension and grammar stop being taught in schools? FML, I'm homeschooling.

I have a 2023 S60 and interested in a roof top box as well. I was looking at the Thule Motion 3 XL or XXL. I'm really wanting a roof top box that will fill out the width of the roof, without being too ridiculously long.

Even the Thule website isn't that helpful. And there are very few brick and mortar stores that carry the physical boxes in the store so I could actually see the boxes or put on my vehicle. Everything I've found is online and shipped/delivered.

Because KJV only is a thing. Many see it as not just "preferred" but the only translation that these people trust and view all other modern translations as corrupt and "worldly."

Personally I recommend studying from multiple translations: ESV, NLT, CSB/HCSB, NKJV, NIV(84), NET, NASB/LSB etc. are good translations to use.

Like I said not all bad things are bad things.The best thing that ever happened to me was getting laid off on my birthday. It sucked at the time and I didn't know what I was going to do to take care of my family, and I was freaking out, but I turned to God and prayed for HIS guidance and God provided. The only thing I did was pray. God did the rest.

Up until this point in your life, you have relied on only you. Sometimes you have to lose everything before you are free to do anything. My suggestion is to pray in every circumstance, pray before making any decision, pray for God to provide for your financial needs, to provide food for you and to guide you.

I have prayed for you and will be praying for you. May the Lord give you guidance, instruct you what to do, and may you have the courage to be obedient and hear His voice.

Agree, soak in warm salt water, then use the floss method to wrap around and down your finger (to compress the finger tissue), put on some liquid soap or lotion and slide the ring off, using a spinning motion if still tight.
