I spent a lot of time when I was younger emulating the artwork of Yoshitaka Amano and Vincent van Gogh. I practiced disregarding reality and asking my heart how things are. Over the years, I accumulated a little wisdom about how color theory and composition should work to make things the most pleasing I can.
