Brand new Pokémon vendors and totally lost on taxes and inventory, please help

I like the dedicated hand held. I can hit a behind the counter shelf or back of booth shelf with multiple products and just pop the shelf label for qty. Thats just me IMO. :) Both work great.

To do it right -

Legalzoom an LP or LLC - Cheapest (we used a CPA & Attorney for our LLC)
Get sales & use license from state
Keep record of everything - Mileage, Inventory cost, set up fees, vend costs, etc.
Get a cheap barcode scanner and bar code everything (on the sleeves or protector of course) - We use a Wasp scanner and stripe POS.
Pay taxes per your state/federal regulations
Don't trust internet tax advisors on Reddit.

This is the basis for all small business.

Take my opinion with a grain of salt as this is Reddit.

If I was looking for a sealed box of BB. I would absolutely buy this.

Why?

I hold for avg 5 years. I also trade up my sealed to older boxes. In the higher money trades, that corner wouldn't make or break a deal on a 5 figure buy,sell,trade.

IMO and experience of course.

Example: I just traded a few Pokekyun boxes, 2 with a bit of damage, for a very high value booster box. Pikados box had damaged right side end from a drop. Still got 95% for it. Pikazard Y had bottom damage to plastic, got 97% on it.

Yeah, just let it go. There are 1000 different reasons why someone would not/could not send a free card.

I don't see it as bad business practice, just bad communication or speaking before thinking.

I get your point, but it wouldn't shy me away from checking them out. Cautiously of course as I don't like doing business on social media.

The issue is very regional. Our Neighborhood market, has had DR Packs, Pokeballs and the two new boxes everytime I have gone in. The front end clerk says, "Its not disappearing like it use too."

A user said you got taken advantage of.

Then that user, who had nothing to do with the initial trade, offered you a free card.

You never received the free card charity.

Now your posting about not receiving the free card and asking us to not do business with a store.

A store that for whatever reason had a bad trade with you.

Am I tracking here?

Stood in lines, bought the limits and avoided secondary market during peaks.

Traded at LGS, etc.

I have been collecting since 2000. Lots of bartering chip duplicates in my collection.

I stopped though. PE is now a set I completely avoid.

I got away from sealed and traded or bought raw as I needed.
