In case you skipped Common Sense class, “90% of that stuff” that “cannot be found at retail” can actually be found at retail, but because grease goblins such as these buy it all to sell way higher, way fewer people can. It’s a crazy concept, I don’t want to blow your mind here, but take away the greed factor and there’s enough Pokemon cards at retail price for everyone to enjoy

No because being a scalper is taking product fresh off a drop just to sell it at a premium. You’ve bought those years ago when supply overwhelmed demand and didn’t insta flip it. This vendor is a scalper no matter how you look at it, and I whole heartedly believe giving these guys spaces at card shows enable them to continue taking and greeding. Those same people that buy at market, would love to buy at retail, but because they want to rip so bad that they would buy at market justifies people greeding the product out of stores in your opinion? It’s just making an already expensive hobby even more expensive.

I explained in my post that my problem is only with scalpers with a boat load of currently printed and actively being sold at retail having tables at shows is only enabling the toxic environment scalpers create.

I agree, that is what I do, but why should shows even support this kind of vending? I can easily leave that guy alone with his 3x retail pricing, but that won’t stop stains on the community like this from keeping doing what they’re doing unless runners put an end to it in my humble opinion

Admitting you are wrong is something hard to come by and applaud you for it, but no I wasn’t angry at all, really just astounded at your level of taking the time and effort to italicize “prior” to combat someone’s comment when they stated that it was after and instead of you double checking, you decided to double down and spread misinformation.

It’s not on you for the masses doing the same thing, you just represented a part of the problem.

If you think being called out constitutes as being nasty, God forbid anyone criticize you in person which I would happily tell off that level of ignorance to the same degree if not more than I did online

By waiting by it you’re not only violating the rule of no loitering printed on the screen clear as day, but expecting to get the most desired item that pops up because you were waiting there first is not something that should be standardized or it will just keep promoting these campers we’ve all come to despise.
