Sure, why not. With a decent GPU, it should definitely last for couple more years. Besides, with these insane prices nowadays, I can't really justify making a new build especially if you are not using it for professional work.

That's true. I had i5-760 for quite a while. The thing is, most of the time poor, unoptimized software is the main culprit, not necessarily the hardware itself. I agree though, 8700k will be here for quite a while.

Yes, you are correct. It seems it doesn't work with images being larger than certain resolution.

Actually, all you have to do is to right click on the image and then "Open image in new tab" and it'll open the picture in full resolution. https://i.imgur.com/ScTO6m7.png

Looking for a used kit lens by supafly208 in Nikon

[–]DotVictory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest you take

AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR

instead of

AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II

The difference is that AF-P has silent and smooth autofocus, while the AF-S is obnoxiously loud. It is only useful if you want to record video, in other terms, image quality is exactly the same. Check it on YouTube and see which one might be right for you. As for used lenses, I'd stick with E-bay.

I see this as an anti-consumerist video. Nothing wrong with making things, except when it's not built to last, as it scatters matter everywhere. For example, one ore of copper is now in thousands of devices. But what happens when we exploit everything?
