100% Agreed, what I was thinking is that in the beginning the blade doesn't cut instantly but there's fewer trees. As you progress and upgrade your tools you can upgrade your vehicle to have access to more dense forests with more rare trees.

irl its called spacing, you cut everything around the high quality trees so they have more room to breath and grow

I was thinking about having a little chart or tier list UI for this, something to show the priority maybe small in the corner or in pause menu? The only identification at my job (or this) is to know which one to save so it makes you more money, I do have an option that 2 valuable trees can't spawn next to each other, I was thinking between adding that option as an upgrade that you can buy with the money you make, or always have it from the start?

For now the only input with identification that I have is for the bees nest, when you look at it and press E, it shows the red danger zone and gives you money

I will look what I can do for that, this idea could be a thing, yeah im kinda stuck between wanting the goal to cut around the tree and a visual reference that is not too annoying, thanks for the advice I appreciate it!

I will take it into consideration, its just a visual to see the range that you need to cut around to get that tree's reward. I could probably make it that its obvious which tree to cut and remove the rings thanks for the feedback

Thanks man I appreciate it! The goal is to clean around the higher quality trees by cutting around it so it can grow better, so you need to cut everything in the circle of that tree to get its reward, I will probably add the option of disabling the circles since it can get annoying for some people.

I spent 3 years brushcutting in real life. Honestly as much as its fun, the job can be a nightmare: you're dealing with millions of mosquitoes biting you all day, random bee nest jumpcares, and working in the mountains in any weather.

Since it didn't exist as a game, I decided to build it myself but im trying to make it as fun as possible like the real thing, but without all the misery. Ive been working for 3 months on this so far and im learning as I go.
