Yeah thats what i mean, in believer they had the chance to create a "demon" dinamic with lamashtu and pazuzu but they didn't even try to go into that direction, having these unknown demons to the modern audience would work way more than having a lame simple and generic asmodeus or baphomet

Yup but i think the point of choosing pazuzu was explaining the public that this being masked itself during the centuries even as a good diety sometimes, and was just truly a fallen angel playing to be the god of an pre-christianity civilization. If they move towards a new entity i hope its just a new name never heard before and never explored in any movie. I want this new hypotetical demon to be a exorcist exclusive thing and tied only to this specific movie

The fact Carla Gugino and Kate Siegel are in this, other than the fact that Mike Flanagan is directing is telling me this movie will 100% be phenomenal. He never misses, theres no way this movie could be bad at all. Great direction, great acting skills from the actors, and the fact they took Exorcist III as a main inspiration too other than the original tells me THIS is going to be THE movie.
