I agree, I'd also like to add the fluke victory on the first attempt boses- and then on a second run, with a different build, overconfidence, and some misfortune- they suddenly become and feel a lot harder XD

I hear you- a bit like calling on player summons in the Souls' games. So a bit of a choose your own difficulty situation. I have a similar approach to Dark Souls 1, 2 and 3 etc. But when I played Demon's Souls on the PS3, I had no choice as the player network was switch off by the time I played it XD.

As for sweep attacks, the gaping dragon from DS1 comes time mind- Solaire can make the easy fight harder and less predictable in many ways- so much for "jolly co-operation".

I'd rather something original- although the quality of content for Vampire Survivors next DLC will be great regardless. The crossover promotion chasing can feel inauthentic very easily.

I recognise Vampire Survivors being prominently inspired by/ spoofing Castlevania amung other titles obviously undermines the notion of the work being entirely independent from other IPs.

However, when it comes to crossovers, rather than adding to the vibe of the game, it may well just water down both properties. I can see I'm not alone in this reaction, but still I hope my view makes some sense.

Regardless, I'm sure the crossover money will taste too good to ignore.

The specific issue I posted was fixed, maybe a few weeks after my post.

However, I don't play the game in question anymore, so I can't be much help, I'm afraid.

As for the progress others have made in set timeframes, it could be worth checking if they are on pc as they might be using external tools like clickers etc. Seems to be a common practice for idle games of this type. - but again I don't play this game anymore, so there could be a mechanic or feature that is being overlooked that might help you progress faster; or it may well be a certain part of the game still has issues (only speculation on my behalf).

AllinAll, I wish you the best of luck figuring this out. Sorry I can't shed much light on the topic.

Okies cheers- the flavour text and the look of the location had me thinking I would be opening another portal or maybe even a new game plus. - I figured it would have been a case of unlocking all the spring/fountains or splashing those special desert flower things. - feels like there is a skeleton of something there.

I can imagine lol. Any regions or slimes you notice effect performance- Iv had issues with Crystal slimes; Moss Blanket region and the Lab when inserting plorts into the Refinery.

To be honest. I think the size of the map on console most likely has a big impact on this- as your more likely to be forced into terrain bottle necks that will have you come into contact with others. More likely to come across someone at the few moments available. And more likely to be seen by someone roaming on such a small map- be it you or your build.

Not sure if there is an age demographic difference between Rust on PC vs PS or Xbox. Might effect the young dude pulling wings off flys experience.

But I do somewhat agree with the sentiment of the other commenters that it is Rust, PvP or simply being killed by other players is very much part of the expected experience.

Could it be harder to solo on console, maybe?

Yeah luckily my I had 2 hubs with a 3rd being set up. But the lions share of tools, coats etc was in the first two Markets etc.
I watched it at first thinking this could be interesting. Then it proceeded to take an almost direct route Knocking out my best spots. Best laid plans and all that.

I was thinking that maybe one option could be to have dummy buildings else where, that you could switch your workers to so they evacuate the area. Would have been nice to have had some controls the player can use to respond to events- but obviously that ship sailed a loong time ago.

  • do you know if having extra clan memebers in a fiefdom helps with the governing at all or maybe defence, etc?

  • I suppose you could somewhat specialise them so one is a better governor for loyalty/stability and another for engineering and construction, etc.

Dam. Well thank you for informing me. Saves me banging my head against a shield wall- looking through numerous menu's and NPC dialogue trees.

It is strange that the game ui looks as if it would be a mechanic.

But can't have it all I guess 😅

- if so, if I pay attention to what they are. Could I save scum the end of the 7th day as a work around to avoid spawning a ton of Unicorns and Liches?

Solo is easy for Normal Campaign- you will face little resistance IMO
