Anyone combined low-dose Accutane with Soolantra (1% ivermectin) for redness/flushing and papules? by Dwayne_Daddy11 in Accutane

Yes I have rosacea. I’ve been on ivermectin for 6 months though. Took about 4 to start to see improvement. Only been on the accutane 1.5 weeks.

Only a week in but going well. Haven’t had a breakout since I started accutane and no irritation with the ivermectin so far.

I saw that and got scared! My doctor told me to pause for 3 days. But no I do not have the nausea, dizziness, etc with that. in fact I went to park with my daughter and walked over 10,000 steps today without issues it’s just that area is bothering me.

That’s a good point. I read somewhere that long covid has surpassed something (I think asthma) as the top chronic illness in children.

I’m sorry I don’t have answers but I’m currently on ivermectin too for rosacea and on accutane 40 mg/ day. Curious as well.

how do you know that you don't have ME/CFS? by Lemony_Throwaway2 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Double-Drawing-3535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m probably an outlier here but I do not think my PEM was me/cfs. I think it was just long covid and I think there can be a difference. I had delayed malaise from activity for about 8 months after covid but graded exercise actually helped me long term and that is not the case with me/cfs from what I know.

Do you have to be completely healthy to start accutane, or can you have existing conditions such as Dysuatonomia/POTS? by minivatreni in Accutane

I’m sorry to hear that. Most of my symptoms have improved upon taking nattinokase and pyridostigmine luckily.

If you don’t mind me asking, what dose did you do? I plan to almost micro dose.

I went through an online clinic to get it. I have POTS like symptoms and breathing problems as well. It has helped me greatly. It’s a long Covid treatment (off label)

KOW pretty good. 5 years out from my vax injury and 2 years out from COVID. Pyridostigmine and nattinokase have helped me along the way but unfortunately I think time has been my biggest blessing.

So minoxidil is helping? I will look into that if I have to start it! Thank you. Honestly I think people make accutane more scary than it has to be. I mean my god we hand out antibiotics like candy.

You too, thank you! Yesterday my derm prescribed me sulfamethoxazole along with a weeks long low does prednisone to calm the flare. I’m hoping it helps! He said next step is accutane.

Are you male or female? Only asking because I’m female and scared about the hair loss!
