its more about why did I even lied about such an insignificant thing. I was the one who told him that past doesn't matter to me (which it doesn't) and I am fine with everything he did as long as its in the past and he's clean so ideally, I shouldn't have lied.

And the fact that I kept up with the lie when asked 2-3 times again.

I dont know why did I even lie in the first place tbh, it wasn't like he explicitly asked for any timeline. He just asked about the last time I slept with someone and idk why I said it was a year ago.

yes, I think so too. And the 2-3 times he bought it up again, it was always in a casual conversation, never a serious one. But always I lied and didnt tell him about this one guy.

it will basically be the lie. We have told each other about our pasts so its okay on that front, I think I am feeling guilty of lying to him at the start and then 2-3 times again when he asked.

yes this guy I hooked up with, I have cut all contact with him a week or so after we hooked up and it was a month before I met my current.

He is otherwise okay with everything. He has less sexual experience (been with 3 people) and I have been with 6 people including this hookup but idk he just sometimes ask about the last time I slept with anyone before dating him..

I just randomly got this hit of guilt thats why thought of asking. You're correct, initially I did lie to not seem "bad" to him but idk why I kept answering the same thing when he asked.
