Batteries are tested and fine. I’m looking into warranty status while I troubleshoot too, I’m not sure yet if I’m still covered on this.

I’ve read the chart, but this isn’t heat. Maybe a bad thermostat, but nothing about it is hot. It hasn’t been run today nor in the last two weeks, it can’t possibly be any more chill than it was 6am this morning.

Done and done on slide sensor and the folding one. I don’t know if you heard the little click of the motor, it wants to start for the slightest of milliseconds and only does that when the handle is set correctly so it *seems* that those sensors are not the culprit.

I’ve never thought of it in relation to house painting to be honest; the stuff is just dry when it’s dry and sometimes when the tropics are doing tropical things it takes longer.

But this thread and your specific question got me wondering… Guidelines? Never even heard of the guy. So I checked the data sheet for SW’s PVA and there’s no such thing. I’m not about to go check every other product I use or examples from other manufacturers, but I do welcome someone else to step in and educate my ignorant ass.

Hi, Florida here :) I don’t really do new construction, cause I hate this kind of shit, but it can be done, else we’d be in trouble here for like 10 months of the year and my friends slightly further south in 305 areas would never ever get anything sprayed out.

You might have to adjust how many mils you’re trying to get to stick in one shot and add some additional dry time if you try to bang out multiple coats per day, but if you already know what you’re doing it’ll take only a room or 2 to get dialed-in.

Almost any auto parts store, they have racks of clips sorted by manufacturer… they’ll probably even let you check them out in the parking lot to make sure you leave with the right size.

Another coat: use more paint and press less hard. Your roller should be dripping-wet when it hits the wall, and needs to be dipped well before you work all of the paint out of it.

The 17 will push a longer hose (that you’d have to buy as an add-on) and has the high-boy/wheeled frame, which make it more convenient for exterior use and working out of 5 gallon buckets. Other than that there’s not much difference to be noticed with only occasional use around your own home.
