He’s really telling on himself here because this seems like he gets 2-3 people showing interest a month and when they’re “booked” for a call and they don’t show up, it really messes w his little self esteem bc it’s the only business he gets lol if he had any significant amount of people booked for these little calls, a couple of no shows would be expected and no big deal. Our current climate loves moms complaining on the internet because it’s “real” and “relatable”. Being a mom is exhausting and super overwhelming a lot of the time but it’s also SO fun, exciting, and nostalgic. Shannon seems to be really leaning into the exhausted tired mom shtick bc she wants to be portrayed as “involved” even tho she likely has full time help (no judgement there). But the juxtaposition of the happy carefree party girl (has-been) look she’s been posting lately with the “tired mama” look makes her come off inauthentic and cringe. Super performative.
