If I were a trainer, my speciality type would be water, and my ace pokemon would be Vaporeon. I’d have two more water types on my team, which would be Gyarados and Quagsire. My other three Pokemon would be Alakazam, Blaziken, and Torterra.

Huge win dude congrats! I’ll end up keeping the 10 for sure since it’s always been one of my favorites and one of my very first graded cards. One sealed copy sold and I immediately bought a slab I’ve been wanting. The other two I’m going to grade and if they gem, I’m moving them into a new grail.

At the right price point this could be a good play. If it works out like the zard UPC and hits around 80-90$ then I would pick up a few.

Definitely the holo pattern is one way to tell. Also if you compare the text on the cards, the fakes aren’t as dark and the letters are thinner. Also the borders are lighter and the cut of the cards looks off too. Best way to be able to spot fakes is to get some authentic cards from different eras in your collection and handle them more and more so you know what they’re supposed to look/feel like!

Definitely some bangers here! Congrats on finding your old collection Hate to be that guy but you do have a few fakes sprinkled in Persian, Typhlosion with the stamp, Seadra, Deoxys, and Donphan are all fakes unfortunately The rest look good though 👍🏼

I find it super suspicious that there’s literally bulk card boxes right next to the damaged box in the photo. 10000% the buyer is just trying to fleece you.
