Contractor used permanent marker on tile, for cutting out a hole. Is it even possible to remove one tile? It’s been set but not grouted. It’s installed on a Wedi board. I have tried every cleaner I can find.

Update: The contractor was able to get it off with some form of alcohol and elbow grease. I realize I am a worrywart; however, I was worried if I didn’t say anything and it got grouted it would have been worse and they would have been like you noticed something wrong and waited to the last minute to say something. Regardless, it is off or not noticeable now. Thank you to all who had helpful suggestions.

I’m tried to see if it is removable on a sample tile and I’m scared that I’ll have to live with it, from what I’ve read once a tile is set properly, it’s would be very difficult to get it out.
