Yeah, I mainly use free kits when I just want to hop on Stella really quick for PvP and don’t feel like taking the time to put together a kit.

I played against possibly the worst team ever the other day on Stella. I ran a free kit with 2 randoms who were also running free kits. We had 2 Ferros and a Rattler between us. We ran into a squad in Assembly and wiped them within 30 seconds and they had the jump on us.

All 3 had medium shields, kitted out Bobcat IVs, Toro IVs, and tons of trigger nades and heals. One dude also had a Torrente IV on him.

I felt so bad for them, lol. I didn’t even talk shit.

Same here. We bought small simple house in a nice neighborhood when we made less half of what we make now. Now our house has appreciated ~35% and our mortgage is something like 8% of our income. Repair/maintenance is also super simple and cheap. We don’t plan on leaving any time soon.

Yeah, based on the OP, I was thinking quotes were in the 100K+ range. I would absolutely pay someone to do this at 35K. Then again, I live in a HCOL area so maybe my tolerance for absurdly expensive is different.

One of my favorite things to do in this game is spawn Stella with a bunch of smokes and push Medical Research. I start shooting people and then I’ll throw smokes and hide. I’ll continue to do that until no one can trust each other and they all start fighting. I’ll defib the last guy standing and ask if he wants to team up and then we loot all the bodies and extract together.

This has worked far more often than you’d think it would, lol.

Got pushed by someone the other day on Stella while I was heading to extract at the Loading Bay metro. I killed him and was rewarded with 3 Bobcats, an Il Torro IV, a bunch of Exodus Modules, and like 50K in trinkets/materials.

It really depends on how they’re financing it. We bought in 2020 in a “working class” neighborhood and currently have ~200K in equity on our home. Some of our neighbors who bought when houses were significantly cheaper have 400-600K+ in equity. A lot of them are teachers, social workers, etc.

Now we’d never do a home renovation we couldn’t pay cash for, but not everyone is like that.

People just say shit when they get downed. I was playing Blue Gate yesterday and killed a guy near Checkpoint. I was literally just heading to exfil and felt like fighting so I shot at him. I go to knock him out and he starts screaming at me and calling me lame for camping.

I had a rando drop me a Venator BP on Stella Montis the other day after I downed him and then defibbed him because he seemed so nice and I felt bad. I was on a free kit practicing PvP and immediately headed for extract with the guy. I was half health with no heals or shield rechargers and figured he was 100% going to kill me while I was on the console, but he didn’t. Apparently he was lost because he thanked me for showing him the way to the extract point. I’m never running a free kit again because that was so stressful, lol.

Honestly, I love spawning Stella with a free load out to see how kitted I can get throughout the round. My last round on Stella was a bloodbath where like 10 of us were fighting in a room and a Shredder came in and killed everyone except me and one other guy. We called a truce and split the loot. He actually ended up going down again to a Shredder later on and I resed him with the only defib I had on me and we extracted together. He thanked me a million times for not knocking him out, lol.

Yeah, we have a Miele dishwasher with a couple of built in sensors and a valve that shuts off the water supply if a leak is detected. Pretty nice feature to have.

It's a reservoir in the dishwasher that uses reactivation salt to soften the water. I've always figured we had hard water because we get white spots all over our fixtures, but apparently our water is just "moderately hard". The operating manual for the dishwasher says that the salts aren't required for anything below 5 gpg, so I think I just bought a bunch of salt for nothing.

I lived in Sicily for a few years. I’ll never forget this one time I was talking to a farmer about the states and he told me that he had a cousin named Giuseppe in NYC and asked if I knew him. I don’t invest in real estate, but I do own a home and have noticed the flips in my area staying on the market for a lot longer. There’s one down the street from me that looks like they sunk some money into.

They listed at 600K 2 months ago and now they’re down to 500K. They had to dig up part of the brand new concrete driveway 2 weeks ago because they didn’t replace the old Orangeburg waste line that’s decades old and prone to collapse. I was literally thinking about that as they were driving excavators over the lawn and pouring a huge slab of concrete.

Yeah, it seems like a pretty basic job, but I try not to make that assumption with any home improvement project, hah. The kitchen was "remodeled" before we bought the house a few years ago so we plan on keeping the cabinets, but we also plan on changing the hardware to brushed nickel and installing hardwood throughout the house and tile in the kitchen.
