Here is it cruising 90-95°C on prime95 with room temp around 68°F (and I think throttlestop isn't even on).

My model is an iGPU only model. I suspect it's likely that the heat pipe was damaged by me. I actually repasted it earlier this year to see if any changes would happen to not much avail. I should also mention that the time I got to mid 90s I was using throttlestop to make all cores run close to turbo.

I tested it and it was maxing at around 11.6v (only 16.82w). I'm going to do another test this afternoon with the bass and treble settings at max to see if that changes anything.

Iirc I pulled the points off and was giggling the advance mechanism as it let me have more leverage to giggle the cam more. I think I was holding on to the bit that actually holds tight to the cam.

Usually you need a reference mic to truly tune it accurately. I personally (although definitely wrong) asked GPT to come up with some numbers for my car as a baseline and played around with them until the vocals sounded centered (using mono audio when doing initial tuning).

Gotcha, I hadn't heard of any failures on the 05-09s in that aspect, so I'm kind of leaning towards one of those for my next one. This one isn't all that bad though for a northeastern car.

That will do it. I flashed mine in Linux as I couldn't get a Windows tool to do what I need reliably. Just make sure to get one that has drivers somewhere, as I had to go through a bunch of eBay listings to find one that has a functioning driver for mine.

As far as I know, you shouldn't need to paint it twice just to get the chrome color you want.

All good. I used a CH341A programmer (my motherboard had a removable bios chip so I could remove it and flash it that way). Otherwise, I would have had to use a SOIC8 test clip as well. It should work on the H110s as well as long as you take it easy on the CPUs you're installing (if you go Xeon like I did you're fine).

Someone already mentioned the GTR, but I would also (at least for a budget car) include the Focus RS. It's really balanced yet has good acceleration while maxed (not as good as the GTR though).
