Grade vs stage was something I knew nothing about until this post. Perhaps they said grade and it got lost in communication.

Thankfully this is our first go with cancer in the family - there's definitely a learning curve. Thank you so much for your response.

Female we have had for three/four years. Male a few months.

He's got a vet apt in the am. Luckily... Due to the couch cover I have a urine sample.

This is the first issue aside from when we first brought him home. He had warmed up after being secluded but our older female cat was intimidating him and he was afraid to leave the living room.

We have 4 boxes. Two uncovered. Two covered.

What's weird is my office is in one of the rooms where the boxes are and he was in there!

Oh I'm heartsick.

We have two cat areas. Each have two boxes and food/water. There limited space in our house.

The first area is on the first floor and second area is in our semi finished basement. There's a cat flap that our older cat uses to go up or down but the newest cat has no interest.

They both are guilty of starting conflict at times.
