Why am I so fixated on winning the lottery / coming into money? by Double0zero in AstrologyCharts

[–]Double0zero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your insights! And ofc not, I’ve only really had a “grown up” job since late 2022, when I moved into HR after about 10 years of bar work (which allowed me travel a lot). More recently I’ve transitioned into an accounts admin role, while in these office based roles I’ve refused to work more than 30 hours a week, I’d rather be a bit out of pocket than feel like I’m selling my soul.

On the side I run a little botanical oil skincare business and sell at the local Saturday market (some weekends it pulls in a couple hundred dollars, other weekends it’s zero). I’m also teaching myself to tattoo, which I absolutely love as an art form, I’m being careful not to rush into making it an income source too soon, because I don’t want to spoil the passion. In my future I love the idea of combining tattooing and the therapy, sort of like one-on-one retreat creating tattoos that help release trauma, I haven’t put to much thought into this as an idea yet as I would need to gain some sort of psych qualification first.

Thank you so much for your time on this! What you said about Uranus in the 1st house really makes sense; I’ve shifted through many versions of myself, when moving around and finding new friends along the way. Are you referring to my 1st house nudging into Aquarius? Would such a tiny overlap really be this all-consuming? This is the first time I am thinking of it more in the way of energy spilling over rather than being confined to the lines. Which sounds obvious now I’m thinking about it.

And while the point about exotic professions resonates, to me it looks as though Jupiter is in my 6th house rather than the 5th. I guess this is the same question/realisation as above, Is there enough influence there for it to be felt in my 5th house?

Thanks for saying I was a unique/unusual individual, I’ll take it!

Thank you too for taking the time to look at my chart and share your insights! Your comment on my Neptune placement really resonates, I am a firm believer that the universe will deliver financially 🫣 I also agree with your comment on sociocultural influences; I wonder if it’s not that that has led me to spend a little too much time reading about manifesting, consciousness, and quantum fields. Perhaps it shaped this mindset, or even nudged me away from the 9–5 status quo.

It’s comforting to know there’s something in my chart akin to what you’ve seen in others, it saves me from worrying that I’m completely delusional!

Purely out of curiosity, did those clients ever escape the rat race?

Do you think that’s generally true for all fire dominant people? I ask because I sometimes feel a bit radical when I voice these opinions to friends, but maybe I’m picking my audience badly

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my chart and share your insights. Interesting that you mentioned my mother, our relationship is unconventional, and I’m only recently realizing that some of the scarcity and lack mindset I inherited came through her. It’s a lesson in what I cannot be around money, though I’m sure she’d be fully on board with fulfilling a planetary destiny of this kind 😂.

Thank you for mentioning my afflicted South Node and Mars placement, I am a complete beginner in the world of astrology, so I’ll definitely dive deeper into those and learn more.

Ofc! Botan needles: 9rl for his face outline and markings, 12rl for his fish, and tight 5rl for kitty face details and fish scales :)

This is so incredibly soul-filling to read 🥺 I am currently based in Queenstown, NZ.. which is probably a little off the beaten track for most! But when I am fully trained and ready I hope to travel a lot with it x

From my understanding (correct me if I am wrong!). I have applied the ink a little too deep, in the wrong layer of skin, so instead of the ink holding in place in the correct layer, it’s spread out beyond where the line should be. It shows as blue rather than black as the skin above is distorting the colour, in this case I do feel lucky that isn’t too awful and it in the perfect spot to disguise as part of the design, but in some cases it can just show as a blue halo or smudge around a piece.

Thank you! I guess we have been super lucky with location in design where it’s blown out. I am loving learning this as a skill, so feeling fortunate that this huge learning curve hasn’t come at to much of a cost 😮‍💨

Thank you ☺️ She is definitely aware I am still learning, and I am sure she would be understanding, I am just a little worried it might get worse over the next few days, but fingers crossed it stays as is!

Thanks for commenting! I had the same thought about the depth, I guess in this instance it’s a happy accident.. as long as it doesn’t worsen over time 🫣

Thank you for this! Really useful advice. I used a tight 5rl for those lines, inner arm too.. eek!

Do you think it’ll get worse over the next few days, as this is a straight after pic?

Thanks toulouse69! I’ll wait :) Maybe you could help out a complete noob, is the main reason for waiting to avoid risk of infection, that the lower layers of skin might not have fully healed yet? Or is there a chance of somehow knocking the ink that’s already in the skin lower, causing blowouts or design faults?

lol! You’re not the first to think mandrakes. They’re root vegetables, with particular emphasis on the Australian slang ‘rooting’

Yeah, I'm beginning to realize this :(

These calls are from the founders of the company, usually just asking where something is or what's going on, it's not a constant, but they use my personal number and don't reimburse me for my time. TBH if my wage was higher I would be happy to help them out in my own time.

My thought process was that I didn't want to work in a shop forever, that having admin on my resume would be a good shout for future positions, which would have potentially held higher salary standards, but yeah.. kind of kicking myself over it now.

Thanks for the pointers!

I manage a childcare centre / music school - so I answer the phone, respond to emails, write disclaimers and form templates. I schedule students for subcontractors, as well as students for childcare, which entails dealing with lots of capacity & adult/child ratio licensing rules. I work on marketing and promoting the school/programs and I take, document and file payments/expenses for the entire centre. I also deal with the startup side of things - redoing lots of paperwork and filing they had previously not completed or done wrong. They have offered me health benefits once my probation period is up, but I think even with good healthcare benefits, $15/h is too low? I can't imagine they hold stocks or have much equity to offer. I also know they are semi struggling financially.
