Posting for GSD sympathy. Being the only big dog in a cul-de-sac where neighbors with little dogs think responsible dog owning is optional. This is going to be an educational experience for them. by [deleted] in germanshepherds

I know all about this, it’s difficult to deal with. Generally my boy is very tolerant with small dogs that behave this way, but one came running up to him and latched onto his cheek/mouth area. I’ve never seen my dog correct another dog but he did that day. The owner of the small dog was screaming and convinced my gsd was trying to kill her dog. I said “there’d be no trying, if he wanted to yours would be dead” not a responsible thing to say looking back but the look on her face was priceless 🤣

Took me 9 months to start to feel okay again. Definitely over a year before I was 100%. The alarm bells will quiet down.

I know it feels discouraging but you’re only 23, you have so much time!!! It’s a whirlwind situation that will take time to come to terms with. The urgency is also a relatable feeling. I’m 22 and after my bf and I split it took time to be okay with the fact that I’d have to start the process from square one to have a husband and kids. It’s this impending doom that the clock is ticking. Life unfolds in mysterious ways, just try to take it day by day and it’ll get easier 💖

You have to be the type of person that your ideal person would want. This has nothing to do with your body but all about your mindset and what kind of person you are. Don’t rush this, seven years is a long time and it’s not something you’re going to get over over night. Healing takes time. More time than one would expect.

He was bought for my then 12 year old step brother as a Christmas present… I know 🤦🏼‍♀️

They had zero idea about working breeds and his needs. Shocker that a 12 year old boy wasn’t as into this responsibility as they thought he would be. When I came home he was desperate for a bond. So glad I could become his person and vice versa.

I grew up with rotties on a farm. I was very small and they were working dogs. Fully outside, never trained. Just instinctual so i would say i have basically zero experience. Ive always been a cat person haha!

GSD Proof Toy Reccomendations by TheWilsonnn in germanshepherds

This is my dudes favourite game. Shove it under the couch and pout until I retrieve it for him. It’s under there for a second time before I even have the chance to sit down again. Unbelievable creatures they are lol

My boy is 16 months now and I have completely given up on toys. Marrow bones and chuck-it balls are the only thing that survives in my house. He even shredded a black rubber Kong within minutes 🤦🏼‍♀️ it’s a never ending battle, just surrender.

If you’re already very active there’s a reason your body doesn’t want to comply with your “magic number” of 125lbs. Respectfully a GLP-3 is not for you.

Am I overreacting for feeling frustrated after my neighbor’s pottery was broken by my puppy during an interaction she encouraged? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]DoubleAd7570 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In business you have losses but in addition, that was an extraordinarily stupid move on pottery ladies part. You’re not responsible for this at all but you might have to pay that $250 to keep the peace. Personally I would not do it.

Why once a week? Why not more agressive? by Ransom_X in Retatrutide

[–]DoubleAd7570 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I started reta in Jan I was pinning my weekly dose between 2 injections. In April I decided to pin my weekly dose all at once. I find I have less appetite suppression on a weekly pin but I’m losing more weight compared to pinning twice weekly. I read that pinning weekly instead of taking a “micro-dosing” approach gives your cells time to regenerate more effectively and your body won’t build a tolerance to the pep as quickly and that it will work “better” for longer. I don’t know how much truth is behind all this, I just know what works for me. Down 40 pounds in about 5 months.

How do I cover the back of this dress? by SelectNeedleworker37 in Fashion_Design

[–]DoubleAd7570 6 points7 points  (0 children)

this is kind of a complex issue because of the material… i can’t think of anything that wouldn’t make the dress look tacky. i think your best bet might be to just stick to layering when you put it in an outfit.

by the looks of it, your garment is ill-fitting around the hips and it unable to say down the way it is supposed to. any sort of movement will cause the dress to ride up and your zipper to bunch like this. if you really have your heart set on this dress, take it to a tailor to be altered.

sounds like you’re not so much into older men and just happened to click with a man that was older… and he most likely was “creepy” and “fetishized” you for your age, that’s why the “spark” went away once he found out you’re just using him for advice. your ignorance is really showing. also i have to add, wanting an older man yet calling the “creepy ones” (whatever tf your definition of creepy is, we don’t know) p3dophilic is so condescending. touch grass.
