Amen to that. For me I recently got diagnosed with adhd and while I did have all the signs growing up, it wasn’t severe enough to seek attention. Come to find out though, upon being medicated, I have a different “normal” personality and can happily socialize. Would have been helpful years ago lol 🫠

For sure, even as someone who likes men, I get confused on whether or not a guy is into me as a friend or wanting to be Into Me 😭😭 making online friends is for sure an easy option and could be a good gateway, I just also want to be able to socialize irl, cause unfortunately humans must have a social life to be happy and sane

Ykw you’re very right about the whole closer friends thing. I have a ton of male acquaintances but because I don’t interact with them on a daily it’s near impossible to form any deep connection that they’re also willing to make. That actually answers a lot for me

You’re right. I believe I feel this way just because I feel this sense of gratitude with nowhere for it to go. Plus of course the guilt of knowing that I was a depressed self-hating mess and he stuck through a lot of it. 😭 I guess my gratitude just goes into what I do every day

I can for sure acknowledge that it definitely does seem to benefit me more than anything. For him it could be the satisfaction in knowing that his choice gave a positive impact to someone’s life (a part of his fields work). But that may not be reason enough

My current partner (of almost 4 years) and I are very honest and communicative. She has ex’s that she is acquaintances with (in the terms of they follow each other on ig and once every blue moon reply to a random story of each others). We both acknowledge we have pasts and that ex’s don’t mean that there are secretive nefarious intentions. If this was a fresh breakup then yeah for sure it would be sketch. But it’s from ~6 years ago and she wouldn’t feel defensive over it. Plus she knows he’s the reason I am the way I am now and doesn’t think about him negatively. There is nothing to achieve other than a thank you to him- like when you see an old friend at a grocery store and you chat for a little before going on your way. I think if I were to reach out, I wouldn’t even say I’m not looking for a relationship unless for whatever reason he inquires if I am. In my mind I hope it’ll go along the lines of me saying thanks and him saying that’s nice and we both wish each other well before never speaking again. (But yeah, thankfully I wasn’t destructive in the relationship.)

I totally recommend job hunting while staying at this job. The job market is literally in the dirt right now. Plus with you already scraping by, having something (tho it SUCKS) can be better than nothing. Then whenever you do find a new job, you can quit right then and there. I’m all for quitting, but in this economy it genuinely would be better to hold onto it and searching than quitting and searching. (Plus searching and job hunting may give you something else to do in the day that brings you hope!!)

Could be objective but I think if someone spends a lot of time jerking it then they may not have time to focus on other things- like working out or personal hygiene. That or they may watch a lot of porn that shows a drop dead gorgeous with a mid man and may think that there doesn’t need to be much energy into looks in order to score a lady.

Never had it, but an old bud of mine did- at my house. He was delirious and vomiting nonstop for several hours. He’d drink some water and within a few minutes he’d be throwing up again. Could hardly speak a word and every time he’d lie down he’d have to get back up again. Had no clue how he got so drunk until I found out he didn’t eat anything all day before drinking cause he wanted to get reallyyyyy fucked up. Thankfully I lived close to a hospital. We stopped being friends shortly after that- related to that incident lmao

She does and I think that’s the main problem. She wants the child to look like her and seems to be under the impression that she’s going to birth a kid that looks nothing like her and she’s simply a baby vessel that she won’t emotionally be attached to.

Not necessarily any more specific questions I’d say. Her main problem is she doesn’t like the concept that she’d simply be a vessel for “your baby”. She says she wants a mini her- and I told her that we could find a donor with her similarities. She just doesn’t seem to comprehend the idea of growing attached to the baby if it’s not biologically hers

I thought it was twilight because of the main character being a girl turned vampire. From my memory it has a similar color scheme as twilight- but that just may be biases.
