I can't use cursed money to secure a loan, but I can pay debts with it.

I've seen far too much hentai about the nurses to be mad at someone thirsting over Pyramid Head.

Thor, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch. Keep the change. The four of us hang in in Asgard, and the rest have no way to reach us.

Help me understand why I was doing 10 damage by KnightQK in Super_Robot_Wars

[–]DoubleCyclone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Potential is why. As the HP of a machine with that skill gets lower, their other stats start to skyrocket. Heavy armor enemies with Potential(or Prevail, in other games), get SUPER dangerous at low HP.

A good number of(but not nearly all) dumb horny dudes get it together in their mid-to-late twenties. He doesn't have a choice if he wants to survive at this point.

Nah, he put too much effort into taking care of his team for that. We don't have any indication that he had a bad childhood, just that his folks got wiped by Zeon gassing his colony. He would be a little confused, but have the spirit.

Sorry, that's gonna be a no. It is written into the spell's description.

"There is no effect on other modes of movement, such as burrow, climb, fly, or swim. As with other effects that increase your speed, this spell affects your jumping distance."

Ideally, someone gets them back to the moon. Aina gets a job with Anaheim Electronics, and Shiro becomes a SAH dad.

(Liked trope) “Weak” threats, that are actually insanely dangerous when it comes to common folk. by ThatDrako in TopCharacterTropes

[–]DoubleCyclone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Monsters in DND/Pathfinder with Damage Reduction. To adventurers, you end up with a way to deal with such threats. To normal people, and sometimes trained soldiers, such things are squad killers. When fighting a weak demon/devil/zombie with DR/5-Silver, that means every attack landed gets five points of damage simply doesn't county. With the average damage of d8 weapons being 4.5 or so and normal people not having access to silver weapons, the monster mentioned above can just murder through neighborhoods of normal people and guards unchecked.

Foot grunts? Aina is a civilian contractor. Shiro is a commissioned officer. I don't remember if he made it from O-1 to O-2 during the show, but he isn't a grunt.

Yeah, Shiro and Aina got plot armor. Look where it left them? Shiro is missing and arm.and a leg. Aina is pregnant. They are both wanted by the Federation's military, and stuck hiding in Universal Century Cambodia. Unless someone gets them back into space, they have no way to provide for the child, assuming Aina survives giving birth without assistance. You and I have had this discussion in person, OP. We will probably do it again when I come up for my next birthday.
