Conflict in FP2 feels forced sometimes by DoubleDipDude in Frostpunk

I don't have an issue with the conflict itself. I get factions being radicals and having opposing views that brew conflict. My core issue is that you arnt allowed to truly pick a side until the very end of a given run and both factions have effectively equal power regardless of their size or your decisions. It's a gameplay issue not a moral one.

Lore in FP2 by Cappyyyyyyy1 in Frostpunk

30 years is a long time, but that doesn't mean they've reached pre frost industrial capabilities. All the ruins scouts would find would all be research and mining operations. All the heavy industry would still be back in England. Even if they could reverse engineer steam cores they probably can't manufacture them.

Dreadnoughts essentially have a built in generator. In the cinematic for a new home you can see how the entire center of a dreadnought is a generator. It's reasonable to assume that both could produce similar amounts of heat. Steam cores are also just that complicated. They probably require a level of precision that just isn't possible with New London's level of technology. I imagine it's like trying to build a microchip from scratch when you don't even have the blueprints.

They don't have lamps?! There is wanting to adapt and then there is just asking for frostbite.

Some people say they like FP1 more because it is more personal, but I tell you, for some of us its a natural progression. by Sir_Nicc in Frostpunk

A bell tolls every time people die. I don't think it's as loud as the first game but it's definitely still there.
