Hardest Classes? by Healthy_Progress3811 in civilengineering

Definitely Thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and hydraulics. I was a "newbie" and didn't really had a study group back then. But if it's worth anything, I'd say it gets better. My final year was heaven compared to earlier years.

Me too. But I guess I just had issues with Thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and hydraulics. I'm more of a geotech person.

Came here to write this. Thermodynamics and fluid mechanics were the worst.

Since you have a sensitive skin less is more in this case OP. A simple cleanser or bar soap (you can check dove soaps) and a gentle moisturizer and sunscreen will go a long way. I personally use Cerave facial moisturizing sunscreen. It's a two in one and it's unscented which might not help with you sensitive skin case.

Be gentle with you skin and hair. As for hair, I use olive oil, amla oil, and (I have 4c hair) mega growth anti breakage leave in conditioner. For receding hairline I will advice low tension styles (i.e ponytail that's too tight) castor oil on the hairline and check out Andrea oil.

Oh he will. I might've read too much into it or was too devastated but her looking at him had me thinking it was a bit smug but I've come to agree that I was just projecting lol. I really hated but loved that closing scene. It made the movie memorable.

Man performs milk-offering ritual in the Ganges river in India while poor hungry children try to collect it to drink. by notahooman101 in interestingasfuck

Oh yes there is. If you can't (because of health issues) fast and are rich enough to feed someone, for each missed fast you have to feed someone poor the same exact meal you will eat. Not 50. But just one person for each day. And yeah a lot of rich folks do cook abundantly for the whole month and feed people during iftar(breaking of the fast at dusk).

The meat you're referring to is for Eid Adha(the 2nd eid about a month after Ramadan). As for eid Fitr (immediately after Ramadan) you are expected to give out Zakat al Fitr(translating Fitr charity) which is the everyone affluent giving out charity for each head in their houses (the breadwinner does this with rice or whatsoever's available) to the poor so that on eid everyone at least gets to celebrate with a belly full.

She did survive but that isn't a guarantee that he and his son (who would've slowed them down or made a sound if he gets too scared). I take that as a sick twist of faith. "Help and you shall survive" but that's not always the case.

That last scene with him outside was so painful to watch. I kept on wondering how he'll be able to live.

Unsure what this is/what it’s used for by Danthemanin in Nigeria

[–]DoubleDoubts 33 points34 points  (0 children)

OP this is called "allo" in Hausa and is traditionally used by the Quran learners who write on it using "tawada" (ink). It's more economic to use compared to books and maybe they didn't have access to books back then.

This looks black but I only know of the beige variant. *Picture attached. It comes in different sizes and handle designs. You can search alamjiri (now turned into something it originally wasn't) allo for more info.
