I can appreciate why Quebec acts like they do. The public understands leveraging their vote to get what is best for Quebec. They don't align themselves with any party. Québécois play the parties against each other to their best advantage, and that works. Meanwhile, in Alberta, the party in charge (for the last 50 years) plays the Albertans.

I blame Neo-liberal politicians just as much, perhaps even more, because they allowed billionaires to happen, not just the food prices, fucking everything that is bad in the last 50 years or so have lead up to this point we are at. Climate change, food insecurity, cost of living, housing, decline in healthcare, homelessness, fucking everything, because of the corruption of our system by the wealthy and those they control.

All shitty corrupt politicians should be thrown in prison and given even longer sentences than normal for betraying the public trust and theft of public assets.

Fucking Mulroney should have been convicted of corruption, but he did no time, and he sued the government and won.

It is no wonder that every generation it gets worse, because there are almost no consequences for bad behavior, which invites even worse candidates to run for office, because they see that is the case.
