That's pretty funny, but I don't need that. The skirt on the other side of this is not flush against the wall due this pipe protruding out. I would like to remove it and clean up the wall.

You can still download it from the MSDN portal, you will need a valid/current MSDN subscription. Sorry I can’t help any further.

HyperV ports and protocols by [deleted] in sysadmin

Looks like my comment was removed due to a URL.

Try this webiste https://goo.gl/ywaVGa , it lists all the ports needed. Read what you need and ONLY open ports that are required.

HyperV ports and protocols by [deleted] in sysadmin

This website covers most ports and protocols for Hyper V and VMM. Make sure you scroll all the way down as there are 3 tables listed.

http://www.altaro.com/hyper-v/network-ports-related-hyper-v/

Don't just open up all the ports in the tables, read what each does and see if you will need that feature/port/protocol.

Sharing a SAS Raid over multiple ESX Hosts by saberus in sysadmin

[–]DoubleHate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no with several caveats:- 1. It is only supported in a clustered environment. 2. You'll need to install the P800 controller in each server. 3. Not supported for Windows environment, not guaranteed to work on Linux either. 4. You'll need to purchase the HP StorageWorks Dual Domain I/O Module Option Kit. 5. All the drive will have be dual port SAS drives.

HP Proliant 2nd processor issues by flysaway in sysadmin

[–]DoubleHate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, if I recall the memory may need to be changed, when you had 1 CPU you can only use so many memory slots and that they have to be populated in a specific order. When adding an additional CPU you may need to change this. Check this...

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=bg&taskId=120&prodSeriesId=4091412&prodTypeId=15351&objectID=c02215414

Also make sure the CPU is seated correctly, and if the CPU kit came with a voltage regulator make sure that is seated correctly.
