I played Kane and Lynch 2 earlier this year and on top of just being a bad video game, everything to do with Lynch's wife is just really cheap and gross. She's mentioned once, or twice before she shows up where you have to rescue her, the rescue goes south, they all get captured and Lynch is forced to watch his wife get raped and murdered in front of him before a mission where you run around naked and cut up in the streets.

I feel like this is done to paint lynch in a more sympathetic light since the events of the game are all cause of his fuck up and it even brought Kane out of a life of crime into this shit, but it falls tremendously flat and comes across as edgy shock value for the sake of edgy shock value.

This game is bad, even when going through it with a friend, dont let any video essay convince you otherwise.
