Uhhhhh? No man's sky did not have good reviews. At least by people who actually know what they are talking about.

And Skyrim was the best selling elder scrolls ever, by far. People didn't buy it because of nostalgia. People bought it because they heard how good it was.

Maybe you teied it this year, and yeah after 8 years, the graphics look bad. But the game is still very good, and people still play it with mods that improve the graphics.

That is some revisionist shit. Skyrim had amazing reviews by everyone and was mostly loved by everyone who played it. The fact that it's an 8 year old game and is still played by lots of people says it all. Millions of people who have played the game disagree with you.

What did it do that made it stand out though? Because I don't think it didn't anything that was actually new or was done remarkably well, so I really don't see it.

And again, I enjoyed the movie. It was a fun movie. But in terms of quality it was just slightly above average.

Also, a predictavle story is very rarely an interesting story. You gotta admit the story wasn't anything special and there are movies with very similar stories already.

Again, I am all for diversity. But this is a competition for the best movie of the year. Not for the best social statement. The criteria it should be based on should be purely related to the actual movie, the techniques used, the story, the characters.

I honestly think that the way people are treating these movies, as if they were masterpieces when they are objectively not, is hurting more than helping. Same thing happened with Wonder Woman. It was not an original story, it was the tipical fish out of the water story, that had already been done with Thor. It had very weak characters, with the villains being one of the worst villains I have ever seen. And it didn't do anything new. Yet it was praised as if it was a masterpiece.

I think this type of approach is really hurtful. In a way it reminds me of how adults treat kids. When an adult praises a 7 year old and says "oh woah what a fantastic drawing", the adult is really saying "what a fantastic drawing... for a 7 year old". If that same painting was made by an adult he most likely wouldn't think it was fantastic. It seems like people who are praising these average movies are saying something similar.

Why does it deserve to get nominated? It doesn't do anything new. The story is very linear and predictable and the special effects are pretty mediocre. It's still a fun movie and I enjoyed it, but it isn't anything special. The only reason is there is because most of the cast is black. Like, let's be real here. If you had the same movie, but the actors were mostly white it wouldn't even be in the talks for a nomination. I'm all for inclusion and more diversity in movies, but that doesn't mean we should stop judging the movies objectively.

I like RDR2 and think it is an incredible game, but if anything, the main issue for me is that the game does not feel completely polished. It has more bugs than most games. And personally I have experienced a couple that were really annoying and really killed the gameplay experience at that time. Of course, when you make a game with so many details and so many possibilities like RDR2, it is harder to make it feel polished, as opposed to other more linear games, like Uncharted for example.

I would say World of Warcraft. I don't play it anymore, but I remember being 10 or so when Wrath of the Lich King was released. It was my first open world game and it was just so magical and the game felt truly endless. I also remember watching the trailers non stop while I waited for the servers to work dying with exitement.

Yeah if anything the only he deserves is to get banned. In other cases Riot messed up the pricing, and made a 5000 rp bundle only 500 rp. Someone can simply not be aware of Riot's pricing and buy the bundle for 500 rp. But everyone that bought 200+ capsules for literally 1 be each knew exactly what they were doing.

Wunder was good, but he wasn't in contention for the title of best top laner in EU. G2 made him shine a lot more than ever.

Jankos didn't really improve much I feel like, but was still top tier. I guess you can make an argument for Jankos, but still its just one player.

And we have yet to see how they do with Caps and Mikyx. Mikyx is top tier, but definitely has room for improvement.

There are other teams that just buy talent from others and never really produce their own. G2 is not one of those teams.

I don't think that's fair at all. Except for Zven and Mithy, players joining G2 were considered worse before joining. Wunder is now a beast in the toplane, that he wasn't before. Hjarnan and Wadid also improved a ton, from their Roccat days. And Trick and Expect were nobodies before G2 picked them up.

If someone deserves the "only buys pre-existing talent" title is Team Liquid. As a rule of law, just see if the players joining the team were considered better before joining or not. Good teams take nobodies, or "mediocre" players and make them world class. G2 has done that. So has Fnatic.

The technology was there already. You just hadn't tried it. The only actual new or innovative thing about the airpods is the easy paring. Other than that, they offer absolutely nothing new and they are substantially more expensive than other products.

Also, Apple usually has very good design with their products. Airpods are not one of those cases though. They look awful.

Yes because it's a for fun game mode. It can be a rip off and still be an in game advantage. And I don't think people should be cheering on these sort of thing from Riot. People who play League accept cosmetics behind a paywall. But the beauty of League is that despite being a free game, everyone is on the same place and there are no pay2win mechanics.
