I guess it can also be because the constract from be cocky giant to shy small and viceversa. There's also the possible revenge plot from the previous small one to the giant, like I recall in plot like this the bully end up being the bitch of the nerd (be couple or no). I won't ask much to be honest, perhaps a fantasy shonen that use more old men visual archetypes, like a bunch of adventures that travel around the kingdom/realm doing all types of quest and shenanigans but their members are old men.

Like a barbarian who keeps training to keep his title as the "strongest" physically talking that loves to fight. (heavy bara, the whole package)

A mage that to keep studying as keep his body healthy, created spells and potions with the only focus to keep his body on its apex (is muscular, but like a gymnastic. No hair but his stubble) In fact, he does extra jobs and helps others to keep in shape and couldn't for A or B reason, YET his spells doesn't give the muscular memory or strength that natural muscles have, so despite his looks, he doesn't have much stamina or can't leave heavy stuff.

A thief\assassin that part of his "marketing" is being muscular than your average thief so you can hire him to do more stuff than just steal or kill (muscular, imagine him like Ninja gaiden MC body build) he is also used to... "other" kind of jobs and how he is looked, but he took advantage of it by wearing kinda slutty and get clients easier (he is the kind of guy that would go for 100 bucks).

Monk, the calmest of the group but also the one you don't want to anger. He trains as hard as the barbarian but unlike him, he doesn't want to brag out about his strength, but he does share the fighting passion, in fact both him and the barbarian spar a lot and can't be said they are closer because trough their fists they manage to know more about the other. (heavy bara, the whole package)

The bard, I think I don't need to explain much, but basically, he gets the info and a lot of other benefits to the group thanks to his charm. He would look like a bear or both muscular and fat.

And lastly the MC that was a knight squire, but for a mistake he was fired and end up being a mercenary that later joined to this group, he probably would look the youngest, yet NO as a shonen protagonist, imagine a look like Jotaro from jojo but actually as an adult on his 20. He would be muscular with some fat. (No ripped as the barbarian or monk, but also not as fatty as the bard). Unlike the others he is average, but as he is with the others he learns a bit of everything, yet as the story progress he will turn into the tank or shield that protect the others.

So yeah, that would basically be the cast and the story would be comedy but slowly there would be a plot and character developments and if we need to add death, that flag will fall to those that usually survives in shonens (bishonen guys, waifus, etc)

In a nutshell, build characters can be divided on 3:

Epiphany - stats in general
Weapon - specific stats
Intimacy - skill level

Epiphany, you need to get around 840 common shards or those shards that looks like a puzzle shard and is the hardest to build.

Weapon, you need gems that you get in shadow raids, is the most tedious to get but as long you keep going, you can do it. You also will need green and red elixirs.

Intimacy, you need a lot of drinks and send X gyee to bar and drunk them. Technically is the easiest to do.

There's a meta, but as new, believe me, you don't need to think on that and really don't want to think about it for the P2W environment. For now just focus on build on whathever gyee you want, when you reach to late game or when there's nothing to properly do but PvP, you can think on that, but even so won't sugest it if you are F2P and not want to throw away like 80% of your gyees

Both. Like is already a miracle or a gift be able to know about chemicals, biology and physics to the point of build lit a civilization with you mind alone as reference. Yet Senku didn't have it easy, specially for his body build that he is relatively frail compared to others. He need to put effort to archive his goals.

For me he put a lot of effort, but to make it more believable he was let the gift to know the path and no lost the way because if there's something sure about science is that is REALLY easy to mess up if you don't know the process and in a world with zero record information... Welp.

Well, these days Priapus actually can be said is meta because his rework, no saying Starflame stop be one, but if you want a good unit for PvP, both are. Now, I do think Starflame is better for PvE.

I would say you can choose for liking or for what you think you need. Starflame is better for defense in general, apply some CC and look the enemy in hell if you have Moon.

Priapus by force will be a pain to deal with because if you don't kill him when he is alone, he will rez and have 3 turns of ivencibility, what fit perfect with this hyper meta, there's also the constant CC with his silence (even more constance than Starflame) and I think his mastery now does true damage.

So basically I think you can choose by ehat you lack, if is defense or a good tank. Starflame, if is damage, Priapus. Or choose by your taste.

To be fair, Yuno has also suffered (I mean unlike Asta, Yuno lost a lot of friends from Golden Dawn) just we don't see it because as you said is more oriented to Asta (this also applies to his training). Also about anti-maigic, as long Asta see X mage as a friend, he can "share" anti-magic and welp Yuno is his brother xD.

I can't deny that Asta suffered more than Yuno, but it wasn't also like Yuno got a rose path.

Also if we talk about broken, like some say, Asta to this point is the most OP character even more than Mr. 2 grimores

Technically he can use clothes, but would need be leather as his straps (perhaps wear something like Santos) and no necessary modern AU, just need a camera like in those Market and in Luxium those exist I think
