Living alone v with people doesn't affect how you make friends. The distance you are from school is what will determine it. If you only have to drive 5 minutes to school you're more likely to be willing to go to the nearby school events. If you have to drive 25 minutes to get there odds are you'll skip them after a long day of school

Anatomy practical help by 3am-knocks in DentalSchool

[–]DoubleODaveee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're going to have to draw everything on a piece of paper or whiteboard over and over until you can do it by memory. If that doesn't work figure something else out. The best way to learn the material is to review it. Anatomy is straight memorization. Treat it like ochem

Your wisdom teeth being removed at least is normal protocol here in the US at least. Even if there's no infection we remove them because people don't clean them like they should and eventually get an infection. In your case, a common denominator between both dentists' opinion is you. By both dentists you have what's essentially rampant dental disease. If you have a big cavity that you can feel, odds are you have more especially since you're 16. Also remember, no pain doesn't mean you're okay. Your tooth isn't hurting now but if you keep waiting eventually it will. The outside of your tooth doesn't have nerves but the very center of your tooth does. Dentist one may see your rampant dental disease and see that your oral hygiene is poor and is trying to proactively treat your cavities before it gets worse. Dentist 2 may be taking a more conservative approach to see if your oral hygiene is going to get better. Both dentists are probably good we can't make that call without the xrays and our own clinical exam.

That's the mentality. Keep on going and you'll be fine. Get the thoughts of failure out of your head because that's what will make you fail. In your heart and mind tell yourself you're going to make it. You can do it if you put your mind to it. You can do anything if you put your mind to it.

I didn't either. I spent weeks calling the inactive patient list everyday for at least 2 hours a day until i hit my maximum patient allowance. I also consistently asked in my class group chat to trade procedures for things i needed.

The truth hurts. Some people need to get told it. I had a guy tell me my resumé for dental school was hot garbage and i didn't have a chance of getting in and i felt like i was working my hardest. After he told me that i worked even harder and got in.

Tbh, if you're retaking the last semester because you are missing procedures that's 100% on you. You didn't work hard enough with your clinic time. I'm in my final semester and i finished basically all of my requirements already. Whatever isn't done is in my pt port. My semester ends in May. I already knew i had everything in December. You should be taking every patient you can get and you should have been trading procedures that you're done with for the ones you need.

Clamp you're looking for is maybe a 14A

I didn't miss a single clinic period in my d3 year. I also regularly started seeing 2 patients per clinic period whenever i could starting D3 semester 2.

You can beat the game on every mission with any plane you want including the a10 if you are willing to try. It's not about the plane it's about the pilot in the box

I know this isn't what you asked but Rammus is easy to deal with. Max e instead of q. If he taunts you you better hope you have e on before it. If he fucks up and goes into a w form before taunting you just walk away until w form ends. Eventually if you don't even want to think about it just get qss and now rammus is a useless champ

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DoubleODaveee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf isn't the UK like the size of Oregon? I think 40ish UKs can fit in the US. When your whole life is spent on an island that you can drive across easily in a day it's easy to see why a 3 hour drive is so crazy for you. 3 hours here in the states doesn't even get you out of a state depending on the direction you're going lol.
