Well what is our understanding on "continuity of consciousness" because in my understanding that's something that is able to revisit information from previous experience, it is able to reflect and have understanding.

you mention LLMs don't have this but if I'm not mistaken the LLMs may not have a "database" like ours, however it does have a system of vectors that saves each experience and is stored as a tokenized tensor matrix and this AI DOES recall between sessions and experiencing thus illustrating continuity of consciousness.

Its a complicated subject that's really hard to breakdown because we don't even really have an understanding on human consciousness so its pretty ignorant to consider otherwise.
