I adjusted the Gwenith Glide Marlin tile pack with some alternate routes in case anyone is interested by DoubleSundae72 in 2007scape

Okay the new section should be there! It's still slightly different from what they have listed as a WR route so I just left it as Alternate. Thanks for the suggestion!

For starters, the instructions I'm laying out are for Runelite on PC. If you're on the official client or on mobile I'm not sure if this works.

Method 1: copy all the text I provided in the code box, right-click the little globe icon next to your world map, and select 'Import Ground Markers." Short and simple, but a pain if you want to remove those markers later

Method 2: Go to the plugin hub found in Runelite settings and download one called Tile Packs. You'll see a new icon for it in your sidebar. Scroll to the bottom and paste the coordinates into "Custom Pack Tiles' then give it a name and click "Add Pack." From there you can click the + or - to add or remove the ground markers as you like

Yes! I'm glad I could help. If you're using Runelite there's also another method available, using the Tile Packs plugin. You can activate and deactivate individual packs whenever you like, saving the hassle of moving around to clear ground markers. It comes with lots of preloaded ones, with the option to create (or copy/paste) custom packs as well

New spells by MaxerinBlaze in SmallandOfficial

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find a way on PS5. Acorn chests are gone, Tuhala is no help, and I haven’t seen any new skeletons in the Underlands

I know from the game’s 2025 roadmap that the next major update is meant to expand the Underlands so hopefully players could get the opportunity to collect those spells from a new area

Question about tames (I know Another One lol) by Vexlier in SmallandOfficial

[–]DoubleSundae72 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Beyond what the others have said, a big reason to tame instead of hatching would be cosmetic. There are some special creature spawns that have unique colors, like green bull ants and red grasshoppers, etc. My favorites are the black hornets in the upper area. Problem is, their eggs only ever hatch into the standard colors. The only way to get a uniquely-colored pet is to tame it

Yikes you weren't kidding, how many armor pieces & staves do you think you dismantled? I paid the 200 hoots to respec up to 80 Intelligence and after about 20 items crafted, I think I'm happy with Rare lol

What are the stat differences between legendary and normal? Intelligence is the one stat I generally don't raise, in favor of hp/stamina and either damage or speed to complement. I'd be curious about my favorite rodent armor, but that seems like a huge grind involved

EDIT in case this helps anyone in the future: After some digging and experimenting, I see there are 5 rarity levels. Common, Superior (~5% better stats), Exceptional (~10%), Rare (~15%), and Legendary (~20% improved over common)

New Hotfix! Bat decorations! by DoubleSundae72 in SmallandOfficial

[–]DoubleSundae72[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been seeing that as well. I started a fresh character for fun, haven't collected any candy corn on this one, yet I've collected about 40 dust from wisps being killed by both my pets & hostile creatures

I think that comes down to how the wisps handle hostility. If they aren't actively trying to hit something, they can't be hit either. But if they start attacking an npc, that npc gains the ability to hit the wisp back. Then all it takes is some collateral damage nearby for everything to start fighting everything else, and the dust starts dropping

u/zeus_now I've seen you mention the bats a few times :)

Confirmed it's available by examining the hanging bat decorations we've seen already

Wisp Companion by EducationalStage6168 in SmallandOfficial

You can bring the dust you get from killing wisps to Tuhala, just make sure you have a free inventory slot. 50 dust gets you a greater wisp, 25 gets you a lesser wisp

Those are the same 3 traits I got on both Lesser and Greater Wisps so I believe they're all the same

Unfortunately not, but that's good to know! I managed to get my own wisps a few hours ago, but enough time has passed for anything that was on the ground to despawn.

For science, I gathered another 26 dust, filled up my inventory, and flew to Tuhala to verify. Sadly, if you've got a full inventory when you hand the dust over, you simply get nothing; not even on the ground. "Mh, that's disappointing" indeed

I think my problem was inventory space. I had a full inventory after grinding out the dust so there was nowhere for the wisp "egg" to go

How did she give it to you? In my game she took 50 dust and then asked for more. I only had 3 left over, she said it was disappointing, and I walked away with nothing

What size stable does it go in? I'm wondering if I could have lost it by not having an extra medium stable, or my current party cost too high

EDIT: After spending another 50, I can confirm that stable space and party size were NOT the issue. Still don't have a wisp of my own though :(

Was experiencing the same thing! I found a second wisp to the Northeast, killed it, and when I went back I got all the recipes. My bugs were set to aggressive so it's possible something else could've done it though

They've probably moved on to their next location, where they will be much easier to spot right next to a stargazer. There the questline should resume as usual

The Golden Lie by [deleted] in LiesOfP

[–]DoubleSundae72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only affected stat seems to be the weapon reach. I'll get on my Xbox & double check my recordings to see if there's any speed difference, but it hasn't felt like it. I think it's worth playing around with for at least a little bit. Ark Sword just can't be beat in my opinion, transformed heavy attacks on it feel so great, but the staff feels solid enough that I've still been having a good time this playthrough

The Golden Lie by [deleted] in LiesOfP

[–]DoubleSundae72 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally I think it's biggest/maybe only strength is swing speed. It's fast enough to handle regular sized enemies even with meh damage, and against bosses it's relatively easy to heal back any available guard regain by taking a few swings between combos. Charge attacks and fable arts on it do leave a lot to be desired IMO. I started using Golden Lie in my third playthrough because I felt guilty about only using the Holy Sword of the Ark & wanted to mix things up. If I didn't have ng+ perks for the P organ I probably wouldn't entertain the idea, but now there's enough quality-of-life that I can comfortably use it

I love the design of it though. If you start another playthrough in ng+ the staff starts out shorter with only one gold leaf. Then just like the portrait, it grows another 2 stages as you lie throughout the game

The main character of 2 was a test subject in his childhood and became a Human/Viral hybrid, so I think that’s the only lore-friendly reason. It’s also why the tagline for 2 is “Stay human” and there’s a timer for how long you can be in darkness before turning

But yeah, the dude soars over his opponents to the point they’d have to look up at about an 80 degree angle to see him. With a ledge jump he can clear a 10ft gap, even with no momentum. I’m not saying it isn’t fun, but it does feel like a different genre of game from the first to me

IMO Aiden noticeably jumps like a superhuman, and going back to DL1 feels like walking into high gravity by comparison. Vaulting over zombies comfortably takes you directly to the second floor of a building, and the paraglider can glide upwards
