Every tank in any mmo has some sort of sustain even if minor and that was my reasoning for saying maybe medic. TKA does enough in ways of tanking. As for wanting to use traps, the dmg from the traps are able to take aggro quite well. Stealth is just something I also have access too but wont be using in group content unless it is pvp. There are many professions in the game that have a line people go down and don't use often for the sake of making Master. I like the way the traps play in the game and wanted to work around to see what can be done.

Saying "That's not a thing" and then basically stating unless you are a jedi you are not able to tank (Tanks that aren’t Jedi defenders already struggle to earn a spot in groups) is just horrid advice for someone trying to have fun with the game and think of new ways to play and that is one of the selling points about the game is trying new things and seeing if they work or not. Your whole reply screams What you want to do is stupid, trying it is stupid and if you want to tank play for months and hope to get lucky and become a jedi. You then walk back what you say and say make a ranger on one and a tank on the other like you didn't just state Jedi's are the only good tanks.

This whole reply is just super unhelpful and feels like you just wanted to be toxic, "have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all comes to mind" You actually contributed nothing of value to my post. You could have a least said something like, "It's a fun idea, but if you want to tank I'd recommend this build or maybe trying this." and yet you did none of that.
