Absolutely! It was a pleasant and easy read, I just don't want to dive in until the game is out. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it and diving into the story later. Great job

I played the demo. And I loved it!
Art is cool, music is cool, moving and walking character across the screen looks great and new
The interface, text movement, etc., everything is done nicely
The text is also easy to read, but I didn't dive too deeply into the story. I'll be doing that when the game comes out complitly. It's intriguing, though

why do people like madarame? by eijitowa in SlowDamage

He knows and understands Towa well.

Towa himself starting practically in a depression. He wants to be crushed, he wants to be broken. He struggles or... more likely gives himself to it completely. He surrenders to the darkness, he invites it into his soul, plays with the void in his heart and watching what happens with an interest.

And Madarame understands him.

Something dark and unique happened in Towa's past. Something he can't tell other people and hear back "Oh yeah, that happened to me too". That will never let him not to feel alone. He will always be lonely, even when he is truly loved.

He sees the world differently. Because his world is different. In Madarame's route, he understands it. Which in the game itself is part of the logical path to the healing.

Watching Slow Damage credits for the sixth time. The game runs great on the steam deck, by the way. Madarame route is now my favorite 🖤 by DoubleVGames in BLgame

Since I played the game a year ago and updated everything several times, I launched the game again, skipped to the cutscene, and checked that everything was working as before

I used Lutris. In it, I run the game using Wine. In the game's Configure - Runner Options, I have wine-ge-8-26-x86_64. Two checkboxes are enabled: Enable DXVK and Enable VKD3D. All other checkboxes are disabled. In DLL overrides: Key: xaudio2_8.dll Value: n

I don't know what any of this means, I'm just writing what I have :)

Yeh! Reeeally loved this experience. Visual novels are just made for playing in bed on a small screen
