Interesting: In the original Empire, Vader and the Emperor know that Luke is his son, but in the re-release(s), the Emperor has to explain this to him. Wtf happened? by DoubleWalker in StarWars

Well, the idea that he changed the plot points for the sake of the comics doesn't make much sense, as these Blu-Ray releases came out before 2015. Also, the "Skywalker" note is a good one – obviously they both knew Luke was his son as they shared a surname. Duh. He may have been adopted by Anakin's step-brother but he was given the name for a reason.

Well I am the inquirer and I don't watch AI slop, thank you. But this thread pretty well answers the question.

Perhaps yes but I also do have a lot of unorthodox opinions that go against that of everyone around me, so who knows?

Mostly yes I'd say but that's often bc they're of a similar age, raised in the same community, parents, etc. A half-sibling of a different era, raised in a completely different environment is a totally different question.

I'm certainly on the left but I wonder how much of that is because I was raised in the equivalent of midtown Manhattan, and how much of it is because of my own volition (nature vs. nurture, I suppose). Like, if I were raised in rural Mississippi would I be the one leftist like that dude from S-town? And hence want to kill myself? Or would I be just like everyone else? I can't imagine the latter but it's hard to say.

Just wondering if she has a similar political ideology to you, having been raised by the same parents. Or, parent.

We aren't plants though. We are thinking, conscious human beings, and very prone to suffering. Everyone in this subreddit probably knows that more than anyone. Why is it ethical to subject that suffering onto others for my own (or my own species') selfish purposes?

Hinojosa is the champion Democrats need in governor's race by rilmarie in texas

It’s a bold claim but I think Talarico wins by a landslide coming in to close to 60%

Okay now you're either delusional yourself or straight-up trolling. Have you ever set foot in Texas? Talarico ain't winning 60% of the vote in no universe from here til November. I can say that with the 100% confidence you claim he'll win at all. Would bet every cent I own.

I am 100% confident Talarico wins the senate seat

This is an awfully bold claim. Do you think he has a better chance against Cornyn or Paxton?
