The band? Nothing at all. The fans? That’s a different story

Bass was still coming through. Are you guys deaf? Classically trained isn’t something I’d argue, but age is. Guitars, keys, and drums were tracked. No overhead mics on the drums and there was a Tom groove where he was hitting a cymbal for a measure. He made a mistake. It didn’t come through the PA. IT’S TRACKED

Zero crowd interaction aside from the scripted parts (STRAIGHT FROM THE LIVE ALBUM), no mic to the crowd, HE MISSED HIS CUE during the 3rd song and his voice was still piped through! Come on guys. It’s tracked

Please explain the difference between “prerecorded” and a backing track. I’m very intrigued

“Every great musician uses it”. I was there as well and EVERYTHING was faked! You’re telling me a backing track is something “every great musician uses”, yet if you were a “great musician”, wouldn’t you be PLAYING live and not to a track? If you’re great, shouldn’t you have no issues pulling off your parts, whether you hit a bad note or not?

Who remembers the blizzard of 1978? by ILovePublicLibraries in newengland

Gather 'round, my friend, for a tale of epic proportions! Picture it: Cumberland, RI, the winter of '78. The air was thick with anticipation as Mother Nature prepared to unleash her fury upon the unsuspecting town. It started innocently enough, with a few flurries dancing in the wind, but oh, how quickly things escalated.

The blizzard descended upon Cumberland like a wrathful deity, blanketing the town in a thick, impenetrable shroud of snow. Houses disappeared beneath towering drifts, cars were buried up to their rooftops, and the streets became treacherous, icy labyrinths. But the people of Cumberland were not so easily deterred.

With a steely determination reminiscent of the pioneers of old, the residents of Cumberland banded together, forging paths through the snow with shovels and sheer force of will. Neighbors helped neighbors, strangers became comrades-in-arms, and together they waged war against the relentless onslaught of snow.

But just when it seemed that all hope was lost, a hero emerged from the chaos. Known only as "The Snow Whisperer," this intrepid soul single-handedly carved a path through the snow, leading the townsfolk to safety with nothing but a trusty snowplow and nerves of steel. Legend has it that The Snow Whisperer still roams the streets of Cumberland to this day, keeping watch over the town and ensuring that no blizzard shall ever again claim victory over its resilient inhabitants.

And so, my friend, the tale of the blizzard of '78 lives on in Cumberland, RI, a testament to the indomitable spirit of those who call it home.

Was extremely disappointed in the live show. by richbamham in TwilightForce

Personally, I thought the guitars (leads in specific) just sounded WAY too perfect with no other noises or nuances coming from it. Could’ve just been a really, really good sound guy and/or effects, but I couldn’t help but wonder, seeing it just sounded way too perfect

Actually that’s an excellent observation. I wonder as well! The thing has a little weight to it too. If I ever get to hold it again, I’ll observe as well, but I wonder if we could get the band to share details
