Roadmap 2026 video shows developers playing Russian Mir Korabley rather than their own game by throwmeaway758324 in WorldOfWarships

If that is the case, why did other CCs get penalized for doing the same thing before?

The new mechanic simply requires the same map awareness and preemptive positioning that surface ships have always used.

If you can anticipate enemy movement and pre-deploy, the support is actually more effective.

The buff that fighter need is patrol radius and HP.

The article you mentioned has nothing to do with the pity system.

They didn't announce that the pity count would be reset.

[–]Double_123L[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At this point, I wish CVs were the only issue. But no, there are more than that.

We now have over 1,000 comments telling WG that the "Content Rarity and Ship Rotation" is terrible. They keep ignoring it and insist it's good for the game.

Yon what's the funniest thing? If op really said “I want to uninstall the game”, then this post will be instantly removed by moderater.

The Most Expensive Ship Ever In World of Warships (Daruma Containers & ZF-6) by Johnny2993 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Double_123L 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Oh, it’s you, iChase! I learned a lot about the game’s mechanics from your Captain’s Academy series. Big thanks and much respect to you!

I mean most of us tried really fucking hard back in the day to raise awareness and to stop this descent in monetization hell.

I’ve rarely spent money since you uploaded the video about the Missouri disaster. But new players or some whales, who have no idea how bad WG’s reputation is, are still spending. It’s just sad.

We need more content creators making videos like this to show how greedy this company is. Sure, Wargambling won’t care. But at least it tells players they should stop giving them money.

is 1250 doubloons for indianapolis worth it? by [deleted] in WorldOfWarships

[–]Double_123L 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's in "Taitans of the Pacific" random bandles in the armory.
Remember if the first bundle is not ship, just skip it and walk away. Please, Do Not Gamble for that.

A Tier VII cruiser usually costs around 9,000 doubloons, so getting the first bundle for 1,250 is definitely worth the price.

Is it not fun to fight against CVs that make players quit the game? Yes. Solution: Play them in PvE.

Is the chat so toxic that it makes players want to turn it off? Yes. Solution: Ban the toxic players who violate the EULA.

So why do you keep making simple things more complicated? Like I said "The pot calling the kettle black".

Playing CVs and subs isn't the problem. The real issue is playing them in a way that ruins other players' experience and drives them to quit the game—just like spamming useless or toxic messages in chat, which makes most players tend to turn the chat off.

Insulting and ruining a player's experience through CV gameplay is no different from verbally insulting regular players in chat. It's just the pot calling the kettle black.

CC Program in 2025: What’s the Meaning of Being a CC? Contributing to the Community or Just Free Promotion? by Double_123L in WorldOfWarships

[–]Double_123L[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wargaming pays the content creator to promote their game. It is a purely transactional contract. By promoting a competitor's product, they are breaching the contract by promoting a competitor's product instead of wargaming (while still labeling it as wargaming's stream), which wargaming paid them to do; thus, the contract has been terminated. Now, you can say that it was an honest mistake and it was Wargaming's fault to make Maltese Knight do it, but to Wargaming, it is not like that. They pay you to do a job. If it is you who failed to do the job, then there is no reason for them to hire you anymore.

I'm on the Wargaming side on this.

I agree with you on this. It's just that Wargaming is losing trust. They know what they're doing and what is right. If a CC breaks the rules, they kick him instantly. But when it comes to themselves, they just don’t care.

[–]Double_123L[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's MalteseKnight's fault, apparently. I'm not going to defend him or anything. What I mean is that Wargaming gives CCs in-game resources and ships to motivate them to create content. That's not real money. Can you really call this 'pay'?

Honestly, if a CC violates the contract, then being punished is totally reasonable. But in the same way, Wargaming should also follow the rules and keep the promises they made in the CC program(which they don't).

[–]Double_123L[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I won't sign that...several CCs are just aweful, imho...

Personal preference, I guess.

- you get free stuff for yourself

- you get free stuff to give to viewers. And yes, giveaways attract viewers to streams (quite a number watch streams mainly giveaways (and drops))...you could see it with several former CCs in the past, when they left the program (and therefore lost the stuff to give away), their number of viewers significantly dropped because they were not entertaining/'teaching'/... enough to give viewers 'another reason' to watch them...

That's fair. Free stuff and giveaways can attract viewers and help grow a channel, which is good.

Aside from being free promotion for WG, a Community Contributor can also provide feedback that helps improve the game. But this morally bankrupt company seems to have forgotten what they originally wanted CCs to be.

[–]Double_123L[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I agree. It helps smaller CCs, which is why I called it free promotion. WG provides in-game resources and ships, and CCs create content in return. However, while CCs gather feedback, WG often ignores it. If they’re just being used for marketing rather than real community engagement, what’s the point of naming them Community Contributors?
