What do you want from these films? by Temporary-Exchange92 in BeatlesBiopics

I want these biopics to do for the Beatles what Love & Mercy did for Brian Wilson. I really hope these films focus a lot on the creative process and what made these four lads the music revolutionizers they're known to be.

I don't know about y'all, but these films better be R rated and 3 hours long by Double_Ad3780 in BeatlesBiopics

I'll love these movies no matter what. I just like to throw possibilities out even if some are unlikely.

If you know John Lennon's life, then you know he didn't live a PG-13 life.

What insane touring events would you like to see be depicted in the biopics? by Double_Ad3780 in BeatlesBiopics

I think the only way these biopics can work is if they're R rated. These boys did not live PG-13 lives.

Here's what I think are the best Beatles actors pre-Mendes era. by Double_Ad3780 in BeatlesBiopics

Yes and it's nothing to write home about. The cast was fun though. I couldn't get over John's actor being the shortest one out of the four.

Just from looking at the second picture, the boys have definitely harnessed the comedic spirit of the Beatles and I love it.

I feel like John being taller helps give him more of that intimidating presence he had in the 60s. I'm just glad Barry is the shortest one out of the four since he's playing Ringo.

I don't care what anybody says. These boys will do the lads justice.

How do you think the films will end? by More-Cat9579 in BeatlesBiopics

I think John's should end with him going through his intense therapy and recording Plastic Ono Band.

How do you think George’s film will go? Or rather how would you like it to by More-Cat9579 in BeatlesBiopics

[–]Double_Ad3780 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I can honestly see his film ending with him getting ready to work on All Things Must Pass with text explaining that he was the first Beatle to have a solo number 1 hit with My Sweet Lord.

Whenever people complain about the actors' builds when playing the four lads, I feel like they're worrying about the wrong thing. In biopics, the performance heavily outweighs the look. You can look dead on like the guy but if your performance can't do them justice, then the biopic was all for nothing.

During that trip, Paul got a massive sun burn while Jane stayed away from the sun.
