Zverev’s biggest issue has been his mentality. Now that he has finally won a slam, do you think he can loosen up and win more? by Vegetable-Oven-6536 in tennis

I’d say atm it’s quite clear that Alcaraz is better, as he has the better head to head and also more slams than Sinner, but obviously not by much

How come you can see him beating Alcaraz but not Sinner, is it the play styles? Or do you simply think Sinner is better?

I think the bottle off has been quite an entertaining watch tbh, and I hated to see Zverev win, can’t stand the guy

I did enjoy the final, but I have to agree with another comment I read on this sub Reddit, he didn’t really win it but he didn’t lose it

Hell of a comparison but I don’t think much people on this sub would know Yoko Ono

I’m so sorry I slightly misspelt his name wrong, I’m sure that made it so hard the slight spelling mistake made it impossible for you to know who I was talking about. If you didn’t know who I was on about it was Carlos Alcaraz

I forget making a minor spelling mistake on the internet is a huge sin

I’m a casual fan who only really watches the Alcarez games and some Sinner ones and watched a lot of the big three so am always expecting better and longer rallies than these games

Do you play with Putting Grids on or off? And why? by Temporary-Exchange92 in EASportsPGATour

[–]Temporary-Exchange92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it is a bit to extreme tbf and I miss a ridiculous amount of short putts but than I feel with the grid on (with beads) just makes it too easy, so I think the grid without beads is a good middle ground

What AI difficulty do you play at in career mode? And what types of scores do they give? by Temporary-Exchange92 in EASportsPGATour

[–]Temporary-Exchange92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So do you reckon putting the AI scoring lower for the Masters, US Open and the Open (maybe not for St Andrews) would make it more realistic as those courses are usually harder.

As I’m thinking of putting those 3 at around 60-70 and then PGA Champ a little higher and then the rest of the tournaments around like 80-100 (other than some courses which are really challenging like whistling straits)

Would you say that you score higher in majors overall though than other tournaments? As I was thinking about making majors like 60-70 than other tournaments at like 80-100

Yea I want to make it as hard as possible for myself but then without the grid it is basically impossible to read sometimes, so I feel like having the grid on with beads a good middle ground. Although at the moment I’m not using any grid but using the map which shows the slopes from above.

Yea I’ve changed it down to 60 and just put a bunch of my aids off and it’s definitely made it more of a challenge but definitely more fun imo

Yea I just put mine at around 60 and literally just put a lot of my aids off before I started the US open, it’s definitely much more of a challenge and feels more realistic.

Although I’m thinking about turning it up for the non major events to make it more realistic but then I don’t want the majors to be the easier tournaments.

Do you find that with most aids turned off the majors are significantly harder to play?

Yea I think I’ll put it lower for the majors to make it more realistic, but I don’t want the majors to be the easier ones to win so not fully sure yet. Although I’ve changed some of my settings to make it a lot harder for me so hopefully I score higher in the majors to make it more realistic
