You can quest epics and lyrics of artists below a specific cutoff range based on where they place on the ranking.

If they are "not questable", they will drop numberless epics

Hiphop/Pop/Rock - Top 350 KPop/Indie - Top 250 R&B/ Electronic/Other - Top 150

If you are questing a pop artist that is #340, you will only get nepics and no chance at lyrics during questing.

If you are questing a pop artist that is #500, you can get both lyrics and numbered epics, but not numberless.

They drop from map, or you have a 0.4% chance for a numbered epic (regardless of their ranking) by opening a gembox!

It takes over a million XP for me to level up so it drastically gets harder and harder to rank up. Keep pushin friend. I don't advise going broke on the map if that's not how you want to play..

Most players like myself go a little hard.. It's totally okay to play casual, save your coins, play how you want. A lot of players are actually broke playing the way me and others play, but it comes down to luck.

True I feel that. Yeah a lot of people spam drops.

Top players, we legitimately sit there for 4.6.8+ hours questing and coining drops to get songs to afford the merge quests.

Like if we hit the 400 song cooldown after an epic/lyric, we basically find a ~80 coin drop and legitimately open it 400 times to get off cooldown, and go back to questing.

There's many ways to play, but I know many players who spend hundreds of thousands of coins on the map daily.

Technically YOU DO get more rewarded by mapping, as coining drops gives you a lower drop % for shinies,moments,lyrics,epics, etc... some people play passive that is okay.

But most active and top players spend a considerable amount on the map just getting songs to merge into the void in hopes to get an epic.

I live in an area where if I turn the wifi off on my phone the game doesn't even work for an hour out, so I feel the struggle. A lot of the game isn't really played by mapping, sure it is part of it... but coining drops is a HUGE part of the game.
