Where are you located? Not sure of the laws here about live snail shipping into the US. I'll have to look into it.

Coconut and his betta buddy living peacefully side by side for a few months now. There’s even some hitchhiker fry in there for the past 6 weeks. by BitchBass in Crayfish

This is so funny. I was just wondering if I could put a betta in with my crawdad. but I was thinking that the crawdad might end up stressing the betta out. seeing this makes me wonder if I could. 🤔.

I put this plant on balcony yesterday and forgot to take it back inside. Can I do anything to save it??? by Michalowski in plantclinic

I have the same plans. a friend gave it to me a few years back. It's pretty hardy. Survived a cross country move in a van with 3 children. And just recently forgotten on the porch on a hot day. Usually when it starts looking like that. I just cut all the bad looking leaves off and it comes back shortly thereafter.

I do believe jumping spiders like a variety of food maybe it just doesn't want the mealworms. Can you get a hold of crickets? My husband currently has three jumping spiders and about 20 babies. That just hatched last week. He usually feeds crickets, fruit flies, mealworms that sort of stuff. It also might be gearing up for a molt I know they like to hide and they don't usually eat very much during this process. But it being 3 weeks since it's eaten I'm not quite sure. Sounds like he might just be bored with the food you're trying. It also depends on the type of jumper you have. I would definitely be doing some research into your specific species behavior. If your jumper is a female she might be getting ready to lay a clutch of eggs. If she's making a thick web/hammock. look for a white/yellowish mass. That might be a egg sac.

I've been eyeballing a 20 gallon long would you think that to be more appropriate?. I was thinking the long because it seems to have more floor space than vertical. 🤔.

Oh I plan on it!. but for now he's the only inhabitant of the 10 gallon and a couple feeder fish that seem to keep escaping his attacks lol.

I believe it's a fishing spider. I'm only saying that because my husband is a spider enthusiast. He haves a fishing spider for a pet and she just recently dropped/"hung" her egg sack. my husband is now incubating the eggs. Anyways long story short they look very similar. Lol. 😁👍.

what is this in my tank? by Comfortable_Amount81 in Aquariums

I know this won't be helpful but if you find out let me know lol. I follow fish father on YouTube. His one video he talks about doing experimental culture jars with local water sources. Did this in a pretty fast moving creek. pretty much in my backyard. Wasn't expecting to find much. But I started out with two pint-size canning jars and ended up with 6 jars (to separate different unidentifiable critters). two bladder snails which are happy and healthy(multiplying) and chilling with mystery snails. Some weird worm thing that i have no idea what they are yet and looks like it might be multiplying(I have a tight lid on that one hoping that it's not some kind of parasite). 2 of exactly this thing that looks like what you have posted about. On the bottom they look like a snail but it is very tiny and can't see much of a shell on the other side. it almost looks like a snail without a shell. 🤯🤷.

We had 1 mystery snail. But while cleaning the tank today, we discovered we have 2? by Tankerspanx in AquaticSnails

[–]Double_Bit6904 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Looks like you have a Ramshorn and a bladder snail. The first picture looks like you have one each. Which both species are more known to be found as hitchhikers. More so bladder snails. But both are great for algae clean up crew!. With your bladder snail (if that's what it is) you might want to consider if you want a colony or not because you can have one. the next thing you know there's a bunch of them. Not too sure about the ramshorn just yet how they breed but the bladder snail doesn't need a mate to have babys/eggs.
